Justice Productions Geoff’s voice was the best I’ve heard it in 10 years. He put in a pretty much flawless performance on the night, backed by the loudest crowd I’ve ever heard in a small venue.
Yeah, was good to hear a return to form for Geoff after the slew of detractors. He must be proud of having daughter sing with him. Although, I would feel a little uncomfortable with my daughter singing "the seeds of man are all I taste.... etc." Although, she's not my daughter, so I don't mind, if she wants to sing that, and put those thoughts into my filthy mind, then go girl. 😉😜😋
As a diehard QR fan since 84 I must say that Geoff has a good thing going now since the falling out of the original band. He still sounds pretty good these days. Good for him and his new bandmates. I saw the other queensryche in a casino and they sounded great. So it is what it is.

She's self admits to not being a professional level singer, she's taking voice trainer lessons and has a vocal coach she's working very hard to get better. And the female vocals on this song are incredibly difficult to begin with. She's improving and getting better, this vocal part she had would be challenging for a seasoned professional.

Derick Arnold I heard them a few years ago and he couldn't hold a note. The singer of Cheap Trick acted the same way for a while. He gave no effort for a show unless he was in the mood. Jeff is one of the great voices of rock and I hope he keeps sounding like he did here.
Meerschaum Man they were from his daughter’s band who were supporting them. Clearly a way to keep the costs of touring down as Geoff isn’t the draw he once was. There was only about 200 people in the venue when in their peak, QR sold out venues like the Royal Albert Hall in London.
The guitar playing the clean parts is playing it wrong, the whole intro was wrong and the ending with the clean guitar was the same, I think someone like Geoff Tate could have had better musicians that would have loved to play with him. Geoff was great and I don't think his daughter was as bad as some of the comments suggest considering who she was taking the place of, idk the original girls name but she was amazing and Geoff's daughter had to try and mimick her so I think she did ok.

i disagree. Drink and smoke will f*** any ability to retain those registers. Examples of those who still have most of their range? Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford..Kim Bendix. Bruce drank for a while back in the 80s but cleaned up his act and regained most of his range. Geoff has had all the time in the world to fix it but more than likely he wont.
A lot of his last decades performances were shameful.. i ve loved queensryche and geoff's Voice since the warning but He mistreated his voice and He has paid the price...maybe,now, He s taking care of himself

I would guess that Bach himself could still perform his own original works near the end of his life .. But he did much more than that .. He gave us his "magnum opus" (Mass in B minor) .. It must be embarrassing to sell out Madison Square Garden on the Empire tour in 1991 and then play on this dinky little stage in front of about 50 people. Maybe it's time to retire.
Frank Saladino i still don’t understand all the hatred for this man. This exact stage has seen 100s of other bands that sold out Madison Square Garden in their hay day as well. Very few of big 90s rock bands can get more than 500 people to a gig in London these days and Geoff just did the same. For those of us that are still fans we get to see him play in a small intimate venue and everyone there had an amazing evening, at less than 1/4 of the cost of seeing one of larger bands play one of London’s big venues. And unlike those bands, you don’t feel he is trying to fleece his fans to line his pension pot (G n’ R I’m looking at you). Geoff clearly had his passion for singing back this time and sounded better than any time I’ve seen him in the last ten years and I’m so glad I went as I have to admit I had fairly low expectations but he was back at close to his best and having fun up there.
