nice job, congratulations! but I still didn’t get what you needed to replace to install this kit? it was the tank, the air box and the overframe, is that it? I have an RM 125/2000, and I intend to do the same transformation. thanks!
Excellent update to the bike to make it look new. And the amount of comments about everything you explained in the vid is ridiculous. Watch the video you muppets.
I bout a 2004 rmz450bike and a 2002 rm125 subframe used the 45 front end forks triple clamps etc and used the rm125 subframe with 2002 rm125 gas tank to fit the plastics on with the 450 seat
kinda crazy but I am the current owner of this bike haha. I bought it off the guy you sold it to. Do you have a phone number I could use to reach you? I just have a few questions and would like to know some history on the bike
So im looking at doing basically the same thing to my dads 97 rm which is being handed down to me so how exactly did you put the different front end on there did you swap the triple tree or anything other than the forks
Will have to basically take the entire front end (triple clamps, forks, bars/mounts, wheel, brakes, etc) and make sure the diameters are the same on both triple clamps and then just put it all together on the 97 chassis
It is possible yes my 8s a 97 rm250 just takes some time and sometimes need to change parts for it to line up like me need subframe gas tank for forks amd clamps
2003 but I can be any sub frame from 01-08 will work for this kit but you need to cut the frame where it mounts amd relocated it unless you have a tig then you can weld the aluminum to make a perfect fit
Where did you get the plastics for the whole bike from?
Following
