@jakepark9783 If your already set in the digital ecosystem, the digital slim is the cheapest and best price to performance option, if you're looking to keep using or buying physical, the disk version would be better as it might be the same price as the og but comes with a full 1tb vs 825gb and is small in form factor making it a bit more forgivable in smaller spaces.
@jakepark9783 Regardless of which model you go for, the base, slim and pro PS5's support NVME ssd expansion so you could technically get a digital slim save that $50-$80 and instead snag a cheap 1tb or even 2tb ssd for a total of 2tb-3tb right out of the gate, all you need is a small phillips head screw driver

Id say get the slim, cheaper and does nearly the same job as the pro. your just missing out on 2 extra hair strands on a character and a few measely fps
Unless you have a LG C3, equivalent or above, you won't see the difference. Even if you do have an adequate TV, I think DF only found the FPS difference at another 10-20. Resolution differences can only be seen when you zoom in! So no, whether you have one or not, the PS5 pro is not worth it, unless you have enough money that £400-£700 to spend on an upgrade or new console.
That is not exactly true since that extra FPS also come with better image due to PSSR. Personally though I still don't see the value due to not enough games that can really push the best of it and is just older games with small improvement patches. Also Oled Tvs are still not easily approachable and I want a big Oled to give such a console more worth.
@ if you have a really high end TV (like the one I mentioned) then you could if you can afford it. If not, just get the entry level. I've compared the two on a sub £1000 TV and I saw no difference.
I almost bought it, but spending $800 or whatever it is on a third PS5 would be the stupidest thing I've ever done lol. I'm good, Plus my television ain't even oled or nothing like that, if I bought it it would be useless unless I upgrade my television, which I am pretty much satisfied with my TCL

I mean I guess the 2 tb ssd kind of makes up for it because buying an extra terabyte of storage can cost $150 and also $250 for 2 tb. Plus I have all my games digitally because physical games are easier to lose.
@You need it for games like call of duty, which takes up 200 GB of storage, or Fortnite which takes up 96 GB, also every 1 hour of footage you save takes of 20 GB also apex legends takes up 75 GB. Overwatch 47 GB, Rocket League 27 GB. So yeah whether you're physical or not, you need a lot of storage.
I just want a ps5 slim with disc reader for christmas and I'll be calm. At least until ps6 comes on. Im tired of watching consoles go through my eyes and not having them. 🙏😭
I'm working with a PS4 Pro now, and trying to decide between the Pro or the Slim. I'd argue the 5 Pro is worth $100 more than the Slim, just for the 1tb of storage increase. For the other added features, I'd probably be understanding of a $600 price tag. I do want to buy a few games (including BO6), so the disc drive might be necessary for me regardless of which console I choose
Did you decide yet? I dont have a ps5 yet. I would need to spend €420 more for the PS5 Pro (€920 with a disc reader) than the PS5 Slim (€500). Worth it or not? 🙂
Ps5 Fat had 825gb but for use, we only had 667gb which was crazy and slim also have less than 1tb for use so this 1.89tb in Pro is actually the biggest difference in this console.
I ordered the pro as I was in the market for a ps5 and was deciding between the slim and the og one, really considered the slim but though if I’m going to do this at least get the best there is and at least for 4 years I will be futureproof. Also got the Dualsense Edge controller with it.
I have the option to get a PS5 Pro on my birthday if I wanted to, but I’ll probably skip it cause my PS5 Slim is already powerful enough as it is already, what more could you want anyway?
well your not really missing out on anything so your the smartest individual here stay on ps4 until there's actual improvements in the gaming industry finally because its been rough lol
The only thing that you’re missing is 60fps. Other things are not that important. There are practically no new games and though graphics are better, it’s not what we play games for
No disc drive and the vertical plate stand is sold separately for like 40$ The enhancement in graphics will not be noticeable to the normal gamer If you are really into monitors and gaming- then you might see a difference.
I have the original ps5 and it’s working fantastic still. Just paid $100 to get it fully torn down and cleaned, I’ll be sticking with the original. I see no need for this expensive upgrade

It’s worth mentioning that PSSR as of November 2024 is pretty flawed. Not that you were to know at the stage of producing this short but it is an important point to note. Nonetheless, over time it will improve (I hope) as DLSS did.
It's really not. Back in the day, I bought a PS2 fat when it released, and after that, the slim was released. I just got on with buying games, and it had no bearing on me bringing my friends around having fun playing games. I still have the console on my shelf after 22 years with the memory card still slotted in, and it brings back great memories. These days, I think social media streamers and youtubers brainwash the masses into making unnecessary purchases by plastering it all over our feeds and that indirectly (or directly) is what is driving consumerism.
Well yeah they trigger the desire but only for things you are interested and want. I am not interested in jewellery for example. No matter how anyone pushes them I am not wasting my money on them. I am interested in tech products so yeah when I see this things I go "should I get the Pro?". And because we live in a depraved and self-gratifying world ruled by Satan the Devil, we are bombarded with images and propaganda that can easily lead us astray-even if we would give them only a quick glance. My elder brother had the standard ps5, I used it sometimes but I can’t use it anymore (problems) so I’m currently saving up for my own. Which one should I get?
Definitely the pro, just make sure you have a tv or monitor that can support
@ ok, thanks! (You got recommendations for a monitor or tv? I’m good with both)
@ I recommend a Sony Bravia OLED but anything OLED that runs 4k 120 fps is what will give you the best experience
Id say get the slim, cheaper and does nearly the same job as the pro. your just missing out on 2 extra hair strands on a character and a few measely fps
@Devilsaur preach
I’m sure there’s a gaming disc drive, of which you can buy for the pro separately?🤔
What was that first game you showed gameplay of ?
Lmk if you find out
Already having a PS5 and upgrading to a PS5 Pro is like upgrading to an iPhone 16 Pro whereas you have an 15 Pro.
I don’t think the ps5 pro is even that large of an upgrade
Just wait until next year I’m sure they’ll release a disc version cheaper than the current price in time for gta 6
@ 75 inch?
I dont have a ps5 yet. I would need to spend €420 more for the PS5 Pro (€920 with a disc reader) than the PS5 Slim (€500).
Worth it or not? 🙂
@ if you have a really high end TV (like the one I mentioned) then you could if you can afford it.
If not, just get the entry level. I've compared the two on a sub £1000 TV and I saw no difference.
I have an lg CX. What about that
Whats the name of that first game that ur playing? Never seen it 👀
@SpawnPoiint my guy??
@@NuNoX- No mans sky
@@Lumaleee thats no man sky? Had no idea it look like that 😅
@ Im pretty sure thats what it is
I almost bought it, but spending $800 or whatever it is on a third PS5 would be the stupidest thing I've ever done lol.
I'm good, Plus my television ain't even oled or nothing like that, if I bought it it would be useless unless I upgrade my television, which I am pretty much satisfied with my TCL
I recommend the pro for only those who want better fps and resolution ❤
An extra 3 fps for an extra 200 bucks is crazy
@daboi6714 I know and I own a slim
@@MahirSaid-y9j I do too
@@daboi6714bro there isn't even a patch out
@@daboi6714 Dude it's an extra 20 30 fps in some games at a higher resolution especially in games like GT7 and GoW.
I got the slim on my birthday this year.
How is it? What was your console before? 🙂
As someone who doesn’t own a ps5 should I get the pro over the base model
I've never owned a PS5, and I got the PS5 Pro. People seem to forget that $700 today is nowhere near as much as $600 was in 2006 when the PS3 was released for that amount.
yeah, but small note, they'd still argue that had a disc drive
@@FBIchannot just that, actual hardware to run ps1, ps2 games natively, not emulating. Plus like 4 usb slots, sd reader, which was insane for 2006.
@@0vercheese the fat wasn't even the most sold model, most people have the slim and super slim, which runs better and lasts longer. their main selling point despite all of those features was the controller which they replaced lol
@FBIchan It would be nice if they had an optional disc drive for those who prefer it or don't already have the PS5 slim disc drive, but that isn't enough of a reason not to get it. I got the disc drive for it separately.
@0vercheese Are seriously saying the PS5 Pro should have an SD card reader? Maybe Sony should make it compatible with a SEGA Power Base Converter as well?
Chris love your videos and when these videos started to pop up in my shorts I just had to subscribe
I got mine on release daigh and haven’t stopped smiling since
Did u pay for the disc drive? And if so how much was it in total?
…and where do u get the drive from? 👀
Did you just spell “day” as “daigh”?

@@JesusLoverVHi, would you like to learn more about God's word, the Bible? I have studied it for many years. If you or anyone else here has any questions about God or the Bible, please write to me. 🙂👍
Jesus said, among other things, about this topic:
3 This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
17 Sanctify them by means of the truth; your word is truth. (John 17: 3,17)
Also Gods word the Bible says:
and that from infancy you have known the holy writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work. 1. Do you reckon having a good tv is a factor too?
2. I been playing mafia recently too, trying to platinum it.
Do you like Xbox or just PlayStation because I have a Xbox s and I’m getting a ps5 slim for Christmas
I only bought it so I could sell my regular ps5 for a good price while it’s still worth a lot of money. Then when the ps6 comes out hopefully people will want to buy my pro because it’s newer even though it’s not much better than the original.
I dont have a ps5 yet. I would need to spend €420 more for the PS5 Pro (€920 with a disc reader) than the PS5 Slim (€500).
Worth it or not? 🙂
I mean I guess the 2 tb ssd kind of makes up for it because buying an extra terabyte of storage can cost $150 and also $250 for 2 tb. Plus I have all my games digitally because physical games are easier to lose.
Do i need much storage when i mainly only play Phisical games?
@You need it for games like call of duty, which takes up 200 GB of storage, or Fortnite which takes up 96 GB, also every 1 hour of footage you save takes of 20 GB also apex legends takes up 75 GB. Overwatch 47 GB, Rocket League 27 GB.
So yeah whether you're physical or not, you need a lot of storage.
Did u put something on the black part of the original PS5? It looks different
Yes that has a matte skin.
I just want a ps5 slim with disc reader for christmas and I'll be calm. At least until ps6 comes on. Im tired of watching consoles go through my eyes and not having them. 🙏😭
Ps5 slim is half the price of the pro but its roughly the same console
With that price, I will wait for Ps6 am happy with the original ps5
What was the first game shown the really quick clip of the person walking through the grass
I don't have a ps5 but If I ever get to buy one I'm buying the slim it's like the perfect one
I honestly think ps5 slim is good.because it was released after ps5 so Sony made some fixes and it’s worth it to buy
I'm keeping to the original PS5. Is there away on making your original to make it like PS5 pro.
do you have a video of best monitors for ps5 or can u make one!?!!!
Where did you buy that monitor from
Thanks for sharing this, but my friend and I already got our own PlayStation 5.
Bro already has ps5 pro, i still have ps4 💀
well your not really missing out on anything so your the smartest individual here stay on ps4 until there's actual improvements in the gaming industry finally because its been rough lol
your pretty smart
The only thing that you’re missing is 60fps. Other things are not that important. There are practically no new games and though graphics are better, it’s not what we play games for
Same 4pro here
what kind of lamp is on the wall, please tell me.
What TV do u have sir
We all wasted $499 for nothing
How much frame rate will it be?
what monitor does he use?
No disc drive and the vertical plate stand is sold separately for like 40$
The enhancement in graphics will not be noticeable to the normal gamer
If you are really into monitors and gaming- then you might see a difference.
Unnoticeable
Get the Slime and wait for the 6. My Pro is basically a Slime
are they all grey and not really “white”?
I have the original ps5 and it’s working fantastic still. Just paid $100 to get it fully torn down and cleaned, I’ll be sticking with the original. I see no need for this expensive upgrade
Just get a normal ps5 or slim in my opinion
What kind of monitor and monitor mount does he use?
I have the PS5 pro and I’m absolutely loving it. You can definitely tell the difference between the standard PS5 and the pro I upgraded from the slim
Nah you can't
Spider man 2 looks waaayyy better on the ps5 pro I like and I have the slim and original ps5 but with my pro it’s better quality for the game that I play.
@@Chadowgon5 Yeah you can. I have one aswell. Ps4 games get a huge boost aswell.

$700 just for the console . Idk about that .

Imagine paying an extra $300 for more storage💀

I say if you don’t have a ps5 yet after all this time and are willing to put the extra cash just go for the pro it’s a bit better than the regular ps5 and has more storage from the get go. I’ve strictly gamed on the series X for the last couple years and I’m currently thinking about if I want the pro 🤷🏾♂️
What’s the first game shown in the clip? With the mech
Can't wait to see my ps5 slim coming soon 3 days Tom

Seeing that box I felt like I was a young teen back in the 90s again.
@SIPEROTH ok
Sticking with my OG PS5 🔥
What was that game appeared after the storage difference
It’s worth mentioning that PSSR as of November 2024 is pretty flawed. Not that you were to know at the stage of producing this short but it is an important point to note. Nonetheless, over time it will improve (I hope) as DLSS did.
Original PS5 🙏🏼😆
How much was for Ps5 pro?
What is the 1st game shown?
Of course if I was a billionaire I would of course had bought it even if no one pushed it, which shows that it just triggers a desire we had.
Gameboy is way better than the ps5 !
Just kidding! 😁

@@SIPEROTHYes they do trigger the desire.
Look what i have read 10 minutes before:
What we look at, however, can also be to our detriment. The link between our sight and our mind is so strong that what we see with our eyes can initiate or intensify ambitions and desires in our heart. And because we live in a depraved and self-gratifying world ruled by Satan the Devil, we are bombarded with images and propaganda that can easily lead us astray-even if we would give them only a quick glance. (1.John 5: 19). It is no wonder, then, that the psalmist implored God: “Make my eyes pass on from seeing what is worthless; preserve me alive in your own way.” (Psalm 119: 37)
🙂👍 🤗♥️📖
I got a pro, but i cant get a disc drive because they are sold out literally everywhere, so frustrating. I cant even play the games i have because they are all in disc format.
00:23 which is this game?? 😮❤
Thank you!
I dont have the ps5, which is more convenient, wait for the ps6 or buy ps5 pro?
Just got my ps5 pro. Using it with my Lg c1 oled. The difference is astonishing. The extra price could already almost be justified just with the extra storage. So the performance upgrade is almost free. If you want a ps5 with 2tb ssd storage, it would basically cost you the same as the pro. According to me it is absolutely worth it.
Horizon forbidden west blew me away. It's like i was playing games through dirty glasses before.

Also i dont need to have much storage if i play mostly physical games right?
@loveistheanswer5924 your physical games still need to be installed. And it takes up the same amount of storage as digital ones. it's just quicker to install them rather than download them.
I would say it's completely worth it. But it's up to you.
@rubenkriel1627 Thank you i didn't know that. How many large games can i install with 800GB ? Approximately of course.
Do you would rather buy the ps5 slim for 500€ or the ps5 pro for 950€ ? 🙂
@loveistheanswer5924 if you have the budget, the pro is truly remarkable. If you don't, then you would be happy with the slim.
So it’s no longer 8k ?
