I hope this video was helpful for all of you who were wondering what piano paper rolls were and how to use them in your creative projects! Another Tip: you can iron your piano roll paper so that it lays semi flat when working with it :) I hope you all enjoyed and I will be sharing Part 2 next week! Have a lovely weekend!

Amity Bloom - how does the spray adhesive stay after time? Also would you be able to show how you set your sewing machine to sew your things? I want to sew my paper but NO CLUE how to do it. You do your tutorials so quick that it’d be amazing to learn from you :)

My uncle (92) has a very old player piano and a cabinet full of piano rolls. Some of my best memories are sitting with him and picking out songs to play. Of course, I would never ask for any of them but I have found them in vintage and antique shops and love using the paper in my journals. Thank you for this great video, it gives me inspiration.

So interesting, informative and beautiful as all your videos are, thank you. I saw this quote on a scrapbook page recently and thought straight away of you. (Unfortunately there was no info about who said it.)

I understand doing this if the piano roll is in really bad shape, and when I say that I mean UNUSABLE IN A PLAYER PIANO. (or not worth the time to fix it. brittle paper ect.) When you find rolls in good shape the idea is to preserve the music. Sure there may be a number of copies of the roll but the way I see it, this like taking a classic car in good condition and then melting it down for scrap metal.
