The treble started out a bit annoying for me too when using the stock tips. I have fallen completely for the Whizzer EASYTIPS ET100. They solved the treble issue for me and now I can even take the iems to bed. They were actually very good when listening to music on a very low volume. I just need that background music that you barely can hear when going to sleep. A very comfortable and soothing set of iems.
I bought a pair, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend them. The soundstage is amazing, but the peaks and energy in the treble are WAY too much. Some songs are almost painful to listen to, even after tip and source changes. Just save any extra $30 and buy the KZ PR1 Pro for a planar. The tuning is much better, and you won’t have any stabbing peaks or harshness.
Those are better iems than this. If you want a cheap planar get the kz x hbb pr2, that’s a great planar in general. Also cheap af. To answer your question, this has better details than those single dynamics….but your ears might bleed, pr2 has details without the spikes. Also it’s not a traditional planar, it’s like the planar in the Rinko, just 12mm flat Panal while the pr2 is an actual planar drover
You should put a security camera on that wooden drawer set to see who keeps dropping off those nifty DAPs, dongles and IEMs.
Just ordered these, my first planars. Thanks for a very succinct but informative review.
How are they?

Thank you for that information. I can't stand IEMs that have harsh bright treble. The KZ PR1 Pro are currently going for about $80+ right now though.
Which existing iem would these compare to? If you could expand on that point it would be helpful.
thank you for your review.
I tried this one with balanced cable and i think it sounds a little powerful an wider. (DX170)
how is it against pr1 pro? thanks for the review 👍
Details of Aria/T3+ vs the details of this, which is better?

@@Hijynx87 yeah, I did get the PR2 can't pass on it.
I don’t need bass boost in the out of box tuning. But can it take eq to boost the low bass by 3 to 6 db?
its a planar so should be able to handle eq well
Those are left over fiio fh5s shells lol
