No, I took cold showers overseas. It was like 110 degrees and the air was like breathing hot soup. It sucked. I was freezing, and then instantly sweating. The cold made the heat even worse. I tried it here in the US back home. In the summer it's ok. In the winter you wind up being cold down inside. The heat of the shower helps your body to stay warm. Chad is right about the discipline part. It is hard to do.
You do get used to it. After a few minutes, the water feels warm. I wouldn't recommend doing it in winter here in the US, unless you are in a very warm area. Cold water is better for your skin, but keep in mind also soap needs heat to work properly. After I got home from being overseas and months of cold showers my first hot shower loosened so much dirt and oil from my skin, the tub had almost a ring....nasty! Also my outer skin peeled. Most of my super dark tan was oil, dirt and a layer of dead skin.

I got used to taking cold showers when we kept having water heater issues where i live. So i had no choice but to get used to it. The rest of my family boiling pots of water on the stove and taking sponge baths , screw that I just took cold showers' and even after we got the hot water heater fixed i still decided to keep taking cold showers. My reasons had nothing to do with this video, I been doing this for awhile now and am determined to keep myself disciplined with this.

This is absolutely bogus, lactic acid is naturally broken down over time and inflammation and lactic acid have nothing to do with muscle growth. Lactic acid is a byproduct that is produced because your body can't convert glucose into energy efficiently due to a lack of oxygen. Lactic acid production of course is correlated with muscle gain, as the act of producing lactic acid requires working out. I'm not even going to try to explain why inflammation is more of an immunologically defined process, and once again is correlated with working out but has absolutely nothing to do with muscle mass. Please educate yourself before spouting nonsense on the internet.
