This is not actually in San Francisco. The Stauffer/Zeneca site is in Richmond, CA. I researched the matter because it appeared to me the site was too large to actually be inside San Francisco. The city of Richmond hopes to clean up the site to make way for housing.
RIP in 20 years. You got internal exposure to contaminated Alpha particle emitting radionuclides That place is highly contaminated. You should have carried a dosimeter and alpha probe and worn a disposable tyvek overall and p100 respirator.
The length of the video is basically how long we were in the building for with just minor video cuts to cut out boring banter or parts without much going on. I had a weird feeling about this place before entering didnt want to be there for too long. But i think ill be fine from this place. If i get anything from my bando days it would be cancer via asbestos
Thank you man!! And me neither hahaha and hopefully next time im at a radioactive place i have proper equipment/clothing 😂 But i found it so interesting about the blackberry bush. It was massive! I wonder if the radiation caused it to grow so big
@@AdventuringwithTrevor +lol yeah totally, and ill have to rewatch it again I was between two things, blackberry bushes are everywhere in new Zealand like an annoying big weed 😅, have an awesome weekend Trevor

Really liked the intro and tense music. Very fitting with the video content. That place must be so scary at night. I bet the ginger guy turns into a radioactive zombie after smelling that stuff 😆 Imagine if that place was used as the setting for a horror game! Cool video!
HAHA i hope Dave doesnt mutate 😂😂 but thank you! Been putting in more effort on the recent videos im really happy with how theyre coming out so far but definitely a lot of room for improvement :)
This isn't San Francisco, its in Richmond LOL You even make it clear where it is by showing San Francisco in the distance. Which makes it super easy to find on Google maps
The soil there is pretty toxic i wouldnt recommend anyone going there. I only found out after we went but luckily we were only there for 25 minutes or so
Its just cause in places like that you never know what it could be. I didnt wanna go into a room and inhale some random toxic fumes or any spores or mold etc. dave was pretty cryptic witu the way it smelled too so i just didnt wanna risk it

Update: Dave says it smelled “very stale and bitter and hints of other stuff. Never smelled anything like it so its hard to tell”. Sounds like chemical to me with the bitter description but who really knows! 😲

Great exploration Trevor! I have a more “recent” video of this spot on my channel. Mainly graffiti focused. Place is sealed up pretty tight now.
What was the smell like? Chemicals or dead body?
You know thats a good question. Ill have to ask Dave. I just turned around instantly because i didnt wanna inhale it whatever it was 😳
