you know whats funny this story has been tolled many times and some grave yards have the same story the lady in white one in concord ca and one in top of the hill dally city and one at ocean beach at the windmill a lady there too
I went to Stow Lake with a friend to search for her. Instead of seeing the "white lady" we both saw like some dwarf/gremlin figures stalking us from the grass and branches. We turned around like never mind!
Golden Gate Park is every bit just as SCARY and CHILLING as Central Park in New York... 😳 I've known some friends who drove through that park late at night, like way back in the 80s (when there weren't nearly as many homeless people around in SF), and they claim to have seen some very strange-looking people out there who were either sitting on the grass or hanging from the trees by the side of the road; staring directly into the headlights of cars without even blinking as they passed by. Their eerie lifeless gaze, is just absolutely like outta-this-world BONE CHILLING; and could possibly even cause you to have a car accident if you stared back at them for too long. It is kinda like that 'THOUSAND-YARD STARE', but coming from eyes that just aren't quite human at all. One thing that really stands out about these 'strange-looking people in the park', is that they just seem to GLOW in the dark with an eerie whitish-blue color, eventhough there weren't many streetlights or lamps shining around. Remember, this was all the way back in the 1980s when technology and resources were pretty limited in SF. There was also wild rumors of a traffic cop; who would show up from like outta nowhere, and follow drivers around in the park at night to issue them speeding tickets. Rumor has it, that this cop had already been dead for DECADES. He was supposeably shot to death by some crazy fugitive guy, who was either on the run from the law, or just wanted to avoid getting a ticket. He wears an outdated police uniform, and his patrol car looks pretty damn old. He is a nice gentleman, with a very polite demeanor and is also quite pleasant to talk with (just picture those patrol cops from that old classic 'Adam-12' TV show). But he'll never turn his back on you, cuz I think that's where he got SHOT... They say, that if you took the ticket he issued you downtown to either pay or protest it; they'll think that you're CRAZY. They have NO records of this cop being enlisted on their police force! Only when they dig really deep into the old archives, would they find out that this cop was actually deceased a LONG time ago. Luckily, my friends NEVER encountered this ghostly cop. After they witnessed all of that creepy-ass shit going on in the park, my friends started packing self-defense weapons; like baseball bats and crowbars in their cars with them whenever they traveled at night! 😲
My friends and I use to go there all the time to hang out at night. Knowing the stories, we never got to see her. Then one nights, four of us were in a car just chatting. I was sitting in the back seat. While one of my friends were talking, from the corner of my eye, I saw the water doing waves. Thinking it was just windy, I thought nothing of it. It started getting warm in the car, so I rolled down my window. I looked out onto the lake and saw that the waves were getting bigger. I stuck my hand outside but there wasn’t any wind. I saw that the waves were moving out from a circle in the water. I didn’t pay it much attention and rolled my window up. Then appeared a faint figure but the eyes were brighter, hovering over the water. I screamed “holy shit!” and everyone in the car looked and saw it and screamed the same thing. My buddy quickly started off the car and just took off. Everyone was looking back and didn’t see anything. We turned to look forward and it was right in the middle of the street. My buddy tried to swerve but it wasn’t the widest street and he drove right through it and felt a cold breeze even though the windows were up. We drove to meet a few of my other friends and told them what we saw, but they didn’t believe us. One of my friends was so freaked out, he just stayed silent. I remember her eyes were bright. She had a long flowing dress, like a pilgrim’s. She had a hat or something on her head and she had her hands out. Still gives me the chills thinking about it now. That was over 30 years ago.
I'm from San fran, and I know that park like the back of my hand, and im telling you I've felt really creeper out around that lake, and I was not aware of this story at the time
I’m a Native & like most used to drink there in High School & after @ the Pagoda & the Waterfall. Over the years in the early to mid 90s we heard things & saw things we couldn’t explain. When it got really foggy it was pretty creepy & that’s when an old motorcycle cop would be seen patrolling the park, I never saw him but I heard him along with the sound of a woman singing lullabies. No one should’ve been out there @ 2am singing & patrolling, facts!
WHICH was it? She accidentally(?) "DROPPED" her baby (oooops!) over the side of a boat, or the carriage it was in somehow "accidentally" rolled into the pond?? Either version is as UNlikely as the tale of the "ghost", and since this story is set in the FOGGY San Francisco area I would bet it was inspired by the eerie sight of MIST arising from the pond in the cool autumn mornings and maybe swirling around into the shape of a human figure dressed in long, flowing white clothes. This is another "Lady of the Lake" story which, in this version, she happens to be a mother.
Buulll shitt I go there all the deam time at night to drink I never see shit but I do hear a lot of people talking and lot of kids.. is super dark place
Y’all got this story all wrong!!😂 rosemary had two kids who drowned here. She never gave up on looking for her babies, until she past away. That’s when her spirit couldn’t move on, and from then, she’s been haunting stow lake ever since. People have claim to see her, but I’ll put in my two cents. I was born in raised in SF, and when we were teens and into young adults, we use to come to this place late, after midnight till sunrise. We’ve drank and got high in this park every weekend. And every time we come here we would screw around and tell rosemary we got her babies. On top of the park is a waterfall, and this is where you walk up and yell out we got your baby. Never in a thousands of time we came here, anything paranormal has happened. The story is real, but there’s no damn ghost here!!😂😂😂
@@genaguzman9384 I work for the park dept , one day we lost all power so I brought a generator It was around 4am I was facing a door & what I thought I seen was a apparition of a woman.

Did no one notice that nothing was in the water then suddenly 4 white things are thrown in and one is swimming towards him??? 🤬Those are not ducks!!!
The dude is using what's basically the equivalent of a Magic 8 Ball to ask questions if there's a ghost.
In 1986 a ghostly figure appeared from frog I looked a lady holding a child hand I called on the Lord it disappeared faster than it appeared
You mean appeared in a fog.. not a frog right?
So why can't they found her bones ?😮where's the baby's bones ??😅
bc they are lazy? or they just wanna make up some story for the mass to be believe urban legend
here because i seen one in my dream. i never seen one before. i was paralyzed in that dream i couldnt move when she was staring at me.
2:32 at the left side. Was it just me or I did saw the lady in white standing.
I saw that too and then when they had went back to that same spot it was gone

La llorona gringa versión
I’m pretty sure she’s looking for her kids!
Give her peace
I hope to meet her.
I'd take her to 7-11, buy her beer & junk food & just talk. I've never been intimate with a ghost, but I'll definitely try. Lol.
The white lady is my mom :)
