@@therealtruetwelfth798lots of trumpet players have them be honest. It's a soft carpeted surface to put stuff on. Plus, of course, they could just have a cat.
that's also called vision. that's what inspires us to accomplish great things. takes practice (a lot of mechanical practice...) but it is immensely worth it :)
I think this particular horn was a Carol Brass horn. I'm not certain of this, since this was a few years ago and I no longer have the horn. If it wasn't by Carol Brass then it may have been a Jupiter, I just don't remember. But it did play nice! Thanks for listening.
When it comes to buying a drink I have LONG pockets.. is there a pocket Trombone for those like that?. No, no hope if you don't buy a round. Good playing, have a drink & charge it to that table over there.
Fantastic. (But the) hardest thing about bebop is playing the rests. Another point that drives me bonkers is the idea that Jazz is "black music." No actual Jazz musician (black or white) would support such an opinion as it is American music that required the melange of diversity that cares nothing for such artificial distinctions. Jazz is Black; Jazz is White. There is no jazz without the ebony and ivory. It remains the most chromatically diverse form of music that brings all together in the happiest music ever invented.
Well whites in during the 1900s sure thought it was black music and deemed it such 🤷🏾♂️ Jazz was cultivated by Afro Americans, that’s a fact. Unless you’re willing to say the exact same for every other genre on the planet.
The cat tower next to him is everything
That's for him

What a workout! Glendon can really get around on that pocket trumpet. Impressive!
Thank you!
Yes man. That flows like lake of lava, man. Its smokes and sets it all of fire!
man that's real sound of BEBOP
What a great performance! Beautiful. Bravo ❤
That absolutely rocks! Well…..Jazzes, or something.
My first intro to the pocket trumpet and I’m honestly blown away.
Love it!
Need more of this ...... beautiful stuff
A pleasure to listen too. Thanks pop, all the best.
Yeah, yeah, yeah man! Great soloing, Glendon! Thanks for treating all of us to some truly fine jazz [pocket] trumpet playing, and Happy New Year!
Simply wonderful
Glen, that's some spectacular work here. Artt and I were really impressed with those beautiful lines. Inspiring. Congratulations! Lisa
Thanks Lisa! You made my day. :-)
Well that certainly made my day. Truly beautiful in a way that inspires me to continue practicing
Yeah! Appreciated that as a former trumpet player, wish I had those chops
I see, that you found a way,
to keep your cats off your shelving!
Sounds great, keep it up!
freakin wailing lines there sir!
i think that i prefer the tone of that pocket horn to that of the regular horn - as far as jazz is concerned.
Cornet is also pretty superb. Pocket trumpet is distinct sure but CORNET is what you want if you have room in your backpack.
I only play guitar, so I don't know shite...but I swear, these pocket trumpets always sound killer! Very enjoyable. Thanks!
Fantastic.
How I imagine myself playing.
Lol that’s called a delusion. I think he’s playin’ Diz. And you can be sure that Dizzy didn’t get that good just by wishing it

Just getcherself some transcriptions of Clifford Brown, Miles Davis, Tom, Harrell, Blue Mitchell... from Jamey Aebersold and you're gold.
🎺👍🎺💯🎺🔥🎺🔝
Sir u are a master :D, can i ask you the model of the pocket trumpet?
If I remember correctly, this was a Carol Brass "Dual Shepherd's Crook" cornet.
Carol Brass pocket trumpet ?
I don't think so. The CarolBrass pocket and mini pocket trumpets have Amado-type water keys.
wow, como haces para frasear todas esas notas en ese instrumento tan difícil. eres Bendecido Por Dios...
Gracias amigo! :-)
te amo
