- Sailing a Northshore 38 yacht from Adelaide to the north west coast of Kangaroo Island visiting Boxing Bay, Stokes Bay, Western River Cove, Snug Cove and Kangaroo Beach. Returning in 30kt winds via Troubridge Island and the Cutter Patch.
Snug Bay looks beautiful and SNUG - could stay there a while. Great boat and crew handling on your return to the berth - good show!
Great 'landing' at the end!
Thanks - great crew!
Great video: very inspiring!
Thank you! Awesome region to cruise
Just found your channel - very much like the simplicity the sailing and complete lack of drama 😉
Thank you - appreciate the feedback!

Having never sailed before, but having a growing urge to explore the SA coast lines and gulfs... This video is dangerous, to my wallet and my marriage! I hope to buy a boat one day and enjoy the rugged beauty of SAs coast.
Thanks for the feedback! SA is a great cruising ground, and yes, sailing around it is addictive!
If you are keen to get into sailing, local clubs have intro and advanced training options (eg: cycsa.com.au/learn-to-sail/). I know of at least one couple who completed some training and went on to buy a boat in Qld and sail it back. Cheers
I definitely need to bring my trailer sailer to SA. Looks like a fantastic place to explore.
It is a great region - well worth the visit! The local trailer sailer association has organised trips there in the past so may be worth consulting when you come. www.tsasa.net/events/55908/
