That brass mouse is wild! And I absolutely adore the Nemadji pottery pieces your mom picked up - the colors are fantastic. I have some really similar brass candleholders to the brass flower ones, but mine have what really look like holly leaves. I totally love them for the holidays and I think someone's going to really like those.
I would not have had the strength to drag myself away without that darling mouse, lol. It just inspires smiles & happiness. Edit: She's keeping the mouse!! (The only item I myself wanted lol.)
I don’t know if I would think to pick up the things you choose but your enthusiasm about them makes me take another look. When you start talking about them I begin to imagine how they could look interesting in different spaces. I love the idea that people will value these vintage items and bring them into their modern lives. (Beware the totem pole though - maybe just enjoy the colours and personal associations yourself without reselling - unless you can figure out where it came from). I also liked the “mermaid” woman and the butterfly.
It's so funny, I feel the same way watching other vintage RUclipsrs! The items are not my style, but they get so excited about them, I totally start to change my tune! Agree about the totem pole, it's a very special cultural piece that I plan to just enjoy myself.
Some great pieces! I found a piece of Nemadji pottery at my local Goodwill store but the colors were not my favorite, so left it there. In case you have never seen this video, here is a video with the history of who made these pieces for the tourist trade (I remember seeing these pieces sold in the Grand Canyon back in the 1980s). Can’t wait to see more on the brass honey hole you found, that looked amazing! Happy Weekend! 🌸
Andi! The brass mouse is incredible! I can see it on a high shelf in your son’s bedroom! He reminds me of a Hanna-Barbera cartoon character. I love the final 2 pieces of pottery you shared. Great video today
Watched the video with the wooden wedding cup!!! I have only seen them with Laura and your hauls. Hope to find them in the wild sometime. I shall add it to my hunting list!!! Thank u!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
Hey, I'm curious what ever happend with that brass lighter thing? I recently got a couple similar ones in an auction lot and I have been trying to figure out if i need to test them or what. I feel like these 2 are empty, and they're very clean- so i just thought id try to sell them as is??
Strange. I clicked on the Etsy link on the description page, and it said "Uh oh! Sorry, the page you are looking for was not found." I turned off my phone & tried again but no luck. Maybe it's my android phone. I will try again later. Enjoyed the video very much.
The same here, so I went to just one of her pieces she’s listed under FEATURED. Then clicked her entire site from there. It pulled up all her pieces sold on Etsy. Hope that helps.
A mall like that opened in my area and closed 2 months later. It was filled with stuff people had picked up at local yard & estate sales and our flea market. The prices were absurd much like the prices seen in your video were absurd. Often old is just old and not an added value.

Yes, the mouse is a keeper for now, sorry! ;)
The "mermaid" woman and the butterfly were my favorites. 😍 That mall looked amazing, my wallet would be in jeopardy.
Ohh yeah, it's super dangerous!

Oops, here is the video link, lol! ruclips.net/video/YShF55wg3U4/видео.html
Thank you for sending that video! I love learning more about the pieces I pick up. The history of this pottery is just so interesting.
The woman figurine sitting on the rock reminds me of the famous sculpture of the Little mermaid in Denmark.
You're so right!

That mouse brings me such joy everyday when I see it. Right now he's on my fireplace but my son has definitely tried to get his hands on it...
Clock is soooooooooooooooo adorable!!!!

I totally bought mine because of Laura! Ive learned so much from her!
This is the first I've seen/heard of these wedding cups. Are they associated with a particular culture or people group?
Brass is Great always & embroidery is up my alley as well…

I literally have no idea where it went! I lost it in a move last year.

Sorry, for some reason RUclips shortened the link and that broke it. It's fixed now.
Thank you so much for helping out! ;)

That such a shame! Yes, you really do need to be choosy when you buy, because as you said, not everything is valuable.
