Yes, it really did jump out at me in the video. When I was photographing it for sale, I was reminded why it grabbed me so much. It really has just an amazing amount of detail.
Watched a year old video!!! What i loved...and i mean loved...was the multi colored warm wooden carved flower sculpture!!! The size, the brown warm butter color of the flowers and its leaves, my heart skipped a beat!!! I believe i had seen an artist, years ago, at a fine art show displaying pieces like the one u found!!! I can only imagine that indeed it sold and sold well!!!💞💞🙃💞💞

There was another lady who was watching this a year later also who loved that ugly flower sculpture you got she wants to buy it. So if you haven't sold it check your comments a year later. Lol! As someone who lives in Florida and went to the University of Florida (Go Gators!), I've got to tell you those carved wooden alligators are GREAT down in these parts! Also, all those ironwood dolphins, sailfish, and other fish are popular here on the Gulf Coast as well. So funny that you pass them up so quickly in Portland, but I get it. Just know there's a huge market for water things all up and down the Gulf shores, the Atlantic, the Great Lakes, California coast, etc. Love your channel!! p.s. UF enrolls 54,000 students annually, so there are a lot of Gator fans out there in the world. 🧡💙
You’re so right - I totally pass up coastal things a lot. The exception being brass sea animals! I went to Michigan State and I once found a wood spartan in a Goodwill here. I was so thrilled!

I'm always amazed when something super good is left behind. The brass trays were definitely like that and this wicker frog I found last day at another sale.
