The Japanese audience was praised on Polish TV for the great atmosphere in the arena. Polish players said that the Japanese fans reminded them of Polish fans. Apparently it doesn't matter who the audience is supporting, as long as the support is lively and polite.

I think that the Japanese coach simply understood that if he had released the main team, it would have been difficult, because Poland is in 1st place in the table, and the main players of Japan would have been very tired, against such a strong national team as Poland, and so the Japanese coach gave gave the main team a rest so that they could confidently win the next national teams, and gave the second team good experience against strong Polish players.

3 strong players, more like 6 lol: main outsides Ishikawa and Ran, main libero Yamamoto, main setter Sekita, main opposite Nishida, main middle blocker, Onodera. It seems to me that they decided they didn't really need this match as they've been doing well and took this opportunity to let the bench players get practice and experience while getting to rest their main players.
I came to this conclusion because they literally put none of them in, they even registered Ishikawa as the libero so that there wouldn't even be a chance of him hitting. And Poland is a really strong team so if they had any illusions of wining they know they would have had to go all out. And even though they were losing you could see the rest of the players on the bench cheering on those on the field, just being happy for the points they did get.

Note that Poland changed all players during the match without reducing the high quality of the game. Poland has so many world-class players that it could field three equally strong squads at the same time. This means that you cannot be fully tactically prepared to fight her. The Japanese coach fielded a second team because, having no chance, there was no point in upsetting the leading Japanese players with a loss. It was better to save them mentally and physically for the next match where they have a chance. It's a good plan.

Sekita and Kentaro did not play today due to injury. And Yuki is too exhausted after the 5 sets match with Germany.
This is my opinion but without Sekita and Yuki, it is hard to win a match against a very strong team such as Poland.
So, rather than using the main players, causing them to get tired and still lose the match, he opt for the bench members instead.
That way, while the outcome is predictable, he can at least get the bench members to gain valuable experiences.
And the main players get to reserve their energy today and they can go 100% against Slovenia which they has higher possibility of winning considering their previous encounter with Slovenia team.

Both squads were experimental, 3 of the Polish starters didn't come (Leon for example had 3rd baby with his wife!) and two are injured. With how deep our squad are coach took all of the 6 players and put 6 different ones and quality didn't dip much, if at all haha.

Poland is just amazing, their net and floor defense is better than Japan, plus they have a height advantage. They are not only tall players but smart. Their wingers are not only powerful hitters but the way they spike the ball is harder and faster. It doesn't matter if it's their bench player or starting six players. It's no wonder why they are currently the best volleyball team in nearly a decade.

Japan was like a cornered boxer. Very few japanese spikes did not touch the block as usually. What kept Japan afloat was an excellent floor defence and the insane tenacity .
