Quantum Accelerator Behind Scenes - The New Straddle Coaster Coming To Six Flags New England

Six Flags New England is set to unveil its newest attraction for the 2025 season: Quantum Accelerator, the park’s 12th roller coaster, and New England’s first dual-launch straddle coaster.
The Quantum Accelerator promises an immersive experience with a steampunk-themed hoverbike, which riders will straddle as they launch into a thrilling journey. The ride begins with an initial launch, sending riders through twists and turns. Midway through, a second launch accelerates the vehicle to 45 mph, adding extra excitement. Spanning over 2,600 feet of track, the coaster will feature 11 airtime moments, delivering speed, thrills, and breathtaking views.
The coaster’s steampunk theme enhances the adventure. The ride’s design aims to appeal to a broad audience, from teens and thrill-seekers to families.Founded in 1978, American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE) is a nonprofit organization of more than 7000 members from 16 countries.

I don’t get why people don’t want this, I love it personally. Like at least we got a coaster after 7 years.
I’m grateful and I think it’s a PERFECT fit. 11 airtime moments, 45 mph and 59 feet tall?! I. Cannot. Wait.

Now that I’m thinking about it, I wish SFNE repaints and retracks Flashback and maybe retheme it because this, Flashback and Wicked Cyclone all have that red/orange track color and all are right next to each other 💀💀💀
