He always knew he was a gay man. It’s not something that you can confuse for your sexuality. I’m 30 years old and I know since I was 13 years old that. I like man and when I told my mom at age 19 she’s said I knew since you were seven that you are gay so I love you no matter what
I literally just finished watching Coming Out Colton and I’m so glad that he managed to find the relationship he’s been looking for! Seeing him here compared to the start of his documentary to seeing him here is like night and day - the energy and happiness Colton is radiating is such a joyful thing to see. Wishing the both of them many happy years together 🥹

The batchelor franchise must be shocked
Even back then, everyone knew there was something different going on with him. People just weren't sure exactly what it was.
It's one of the reasons they chose him to be the Bachelor - they were hoping to exploit the fact that he was still a virgin and obviously had issues with romantic relationships. They were looking for headlines and emotional drama.
colton is so happy and he deserves it . hate that the world did that to him just a selfish world. but he really had the strength to come out on national tv and docu it. i admire him for that and i hope he and his husband become parents . the kids will be so lucky
I live very close to Napa. I'm on the other side of the hills, closer to the beach. I always say I live in the most amazing place. Perfect weather, rolling hills, cute historic towns and homes, wineries & vineyards, farms and cows. Ocean and Redwoods. I love it!

I absolutely love the idea of the personal notes to each of your guests, thanking them for sharing your special day/weekend with you. I wish we would’ve thought about that at our wedding 20 years ago since we had people coming to the beautiful State of Washington from all around the country and Germany (I’m German and lived in the US for 20 years) for our special day.
I think what we will do, is sending everyone who attended our wedding a personal, handwritten note on our 25th anniversary in 2028, letting them know how much we appreciated them taking the time to celebrate with us. Thank you so much for that idea. Sending much love from Germany ❤

Call it confidence I love it but to me Colton has definitely changed, seeing him from the bachelor to coming out in the Netflix series to now. his demeanor, body language, and overall character to me!, has changed!!!
For all the wise guys out there, obviously a gay man pretending to be straight is gonna act as stereotypically masculine as possible to avoid rumors or backlash about being gay. He’s out now so he doesn’t care, his previous voice and mannerisms were the “acting”.

They tried selling the longer version of this video to ABC as a Bachelor Wedding Special but ABC wasn't interested. It's odd seeing Colton so close to a man when he was kissing and cudding ladies on The Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise just a few years ago.

Haven't seen Colton in a very long time. I see he now has the "gay" way of speaking with hand gestures. Not the same persona. It's a shame he took a spot on the Bachelor that someone straight who was truly looking for a wife could have had.
Perhaps he would have never found himself, if he didn't take that spot. And would now be dead by suicide, or drug addict in some gutter. Some people need to learn the hard way. At least he didn't waste 30 years of some woman's life, to find himself. That's been done thousands of times you know...

Colton is not flamboyant. He's not feminine. And he's not a different person.
He was finally able to come out and be his true self. He's more relaxed, at ease and HAPPY!
His story is a great example of how harmful it can be to live in an anti-gay society and have to repress your true nature. And how liberating and healthy it is when you live your life truthfully.
If we lived in an anti-gay society 90% of the comments would be negative instead of positive....

Well I can speak for myself that I would have never entertained the idea of dating the same sex because I was taught it was wrong. You know when you teach your kids right from wrong. Thou shalt not kill, steal, etc. I took those things serious. Going off to college for the first time I became exposed to a lot of things that I had never seen growing up because I didn't have social media or t.v. I had never been around a "gay" person until then but I wouldn't have entertained the idea for myself because I was taught it was wrong.
