Wow what a great looking runner. Would so love to get this one to make a few up. Even to give as gifts would be wonderful. I know i would love this as a gift . Thanks for sharing this tutorial
Oh my. I did not get to watch every single bit, because I was cutting out pieces for a quilt I am working on. But, I stopped and watched closely some parts at this time. I loved it. Wow! I liked the yo yo tool. I have never made a yo yo. I don't remember if I have. I loved the tool. Oh, and I agree. The right ruler for the job is so so so helpful.
It is a beautiful table runner, happy that you love it! It does take time but thats the fun of making projects. It takes time and lots of patience. Thanks for your comment! - Abby
Cute pattern. Thanks for showing how to use the Clover YoYo maker. The yo-yo maker and the circle cutter will be added to my Christmas wish list. I am enjoying the tutorials with you Bethany,
I loved this. I just purchased your pattern. Wonderful tutorial. Love the Christmas music as you sewed. This was such fun. I will make holly leaves on mine with the yo yo’s and a tiny button in the middle of the yo yo.
Such a adorable table runner and fantastic tutorial with lots of tips! I have a few of the tools you used and agree that the thread cutter is a great tool when chain piecing! Plus you're recycling your old used blades! I also have the Olfa Circle cutter and the Clover Quick Yo Yo Makers and have used them them several times. I really like that you show the tools you use in your projects. Thank you Bethany and Jen for another fun tutorial!
Such a cute table runner!! I definitely want to make this for my table. Thank you for this video with such good details. I’m a visual and this is great. 🌺
I ordered the pattern & am making 3 for gifts. It’s so stinking cute! I can’t tell you how I loved this video & have referenced each step multiple times. Thank you both for such a great tutorial.

This is one that I’d love to try but don’t think it will make it on my Christmas list for this year. 😢 It was lots of fun watching you girls make this one. Very good tips! ❤
I love the idea. I think cutting the stripes on the straight parts of the canes would be easier by just cutting single diagonally cut pieces instead of using the Dresden and cutting two small opposing pieces. Dresden needed just for the arc, not the stem.
Hi MonteAmnah - Dry pressing should be fine :) We tend to use something like Magic Sizing and a bit of steam, but you can dry press if you prefer. -Michelle
I massage All Purpose Sewer's Aid into my clear threads. made By Dritz. I put a few drops all the wat The spool and carefully Massage into the threads.

I love the idea. I think cutting the stripes on the straight parts of the canes would be easier by just cutting single diagonally cut pieces instead of using the Dresden and cutting two small opposing pieces. Dresden needed just for the arc, not the stem.
I have used liquid starch and paint brushed to shape curves
That's a great technique too! Thank you for watching the video. -Bethany
LOL! Jen - Those "irregularities" make the finished product "one of a kind," you know.
We agree! It's a "personalized touch". Thank you very much for watching!! 💖 -Michelle
Once I receive my kit, should I dry press or steam my fabric?
Hi MonteAmnah - Dry pressing should be fine :) We tend to use something like Magic Sizing and a bit of steam, but you can dry press if you prefer. -Michelle
Hi @Shabby Fabrics, is this pattern a digital download when I purchase it from the website?
Hi Becks - This pattern is not a digital download. You will receive a printed pattern in the mail when you purchase it. -Michelle
I massage All Purpose Sewer's Aid into my clear threads. made By Dritz. I put a few drops all the wat The spool and carefully Massage into the threads.
Great suggestion! -Michelle
I would think paperpiecing the whole cane and then raw edge applique would be much easier
It may be, but we demonstrated this project the way that this pattern was written. Hope this makes sense! -Michelle
What was the paper you used please
Hi Loraine, I used CutRite Heavy Duty Freezer Paper. Happy sewing! -Bethany
