Dealerships did nothing. CDK got caught lacking and their security wasn't up to par. Dealerships and consumers are paying the price.

CDK is used for ordering parts, writing invoicing, customer information, looking up customers history, accounting, product orders.
CDK is the software that all of them use. Just imagine going into work and all of the computers do not work and I'm order for you to do your job you have to pay someone millions and the consumer or customers will have to pay it.
@wolfensteinman7978 I analyzed the companies products. They definitely have an algorithm for pricing cars. It uses a number of factors, including other dealerships' pricing. Days the individual models sit on the lots. What cars are in high demand.
They don't need to pay the ransom that's why these hackers are doing this STOP PAYING THIEVES
