You Guys! This only takes me 30-45 min to get done and to refresh on day 3 I add some water to the ends and finger curl as needed. Don’t forget to like and subscribe ❤️ Instagram : @rachelmichaelagray
I just did twists on my hair and it was the first time. It came out ok. But I'm gonna keep it twisted for 4 days. Then im gonna try again and hopefully it would come out better.
This was my first time doing twists, so this video was really helpful! I did smaller twists, so it took me just under 5 hours to do. It's was worth it, though
On the parting, I would put a heavy gel. And on the ends so it doesn’t unravel. Wrap your hair in a silk scarf after mousing the top of the head. Every night scarf it up and then put a bonnet. Over kill yeah. But hey. It’s better than doing this every week. Then. Touch up where you see unravel or frizz. It should be quick if it’s your natural hair. I am about to do this with passion twist hair. I want it to last a month. I hope it does. I have 3c/3b hair.
First, thank you for asking. I am not the authority on this topic and can only give you my opinion. This style is to protect 3A curly hair and if that is your hair type I think it is OK to try it out. It is just important to know, respect, and recognize that most braided or twisted styles come from black origins. And I think you are already doing that by asking. Hope this helps
i have a question! basically I'ma native north african and my hair is a very thick 3c type of curl pattern. I struggle a lot trying to keep it in place and I wanted to know if it would be offensive for me to try one of these protective hairstyles? let me know :))
It’s only offensive, when you don’t acknowledge the issues black people face with their hairstyles. However, you’re African. You’re ancestors braided/twisted. Good luck.
I am so trying this!! I’ll probably record it and mention you in the video if it turns out ok 🙂 This style is beautiful. Your hair looks so moisturized too.
my origin is black and one day im gonna start to learn how to twist my hair my mom does it a lot after she washes it sometimes she blow dry it out cause some parts of my hair is really frizzy when its wet or when trying to dry and it gets tangled and also I have a lot of hair so idk what my hair texture is I have full head of curly hair but im guessing its 3A cause it curls up when its wet and idk how it looks when it drys
Aww I’m glad you like it! Hopefully it can work for your hair too. I only do really simple makeup lol. But here is my summer routine. m.ruclips.net/video/xgE5JqML_6A/видео.html
I really want to do a leave in a protective hairstyle for my 3b hair, but I'm hispanic so I was wondering whether or not it would be disrespectful to do twists in my hair. Please let me know! Great video ❤

Hi Rina! I would make sure that your hair is damp before you twist, I would also make sure that you were finger curling the ends in the opposite direction of your twist. If those tips don’t work, you can always use hair rubber bands that are your hair color and then finger curl the ends of your hair. Hope this helps ❤️❤️
I really hope it works for you. Feel free to tag me on instagram with your results. It's @RachelMichaelaGray. Let me know if it works or if there are any other tips I can give

Looks beautiful ❤️ I'm not too familiar with the twists process, do you undo the twists for the final result?
This is beautiful!
Is there anything we can do to make it last a little bit longer? About 2 weeks?

How do i stop the twists of getting unraveled
@@halaalkrina9508 finger curl the ends
Can i use a regular conditioner ?
And couconut oil?
Yes you can, i would use a conditioner that is silicone free to prevent build-up.
Would it be seen as appropriation if I do this protective style for my natural 3a curly hair. (Im white, and naturally blonde)

So beautiful!! I’m wondering how you keep the end curls fresh? Mine flatten when I sleep, even if I pineapple. Do you have to freshen them daily?
Hey! I probably freshen them every other day. I just add water to reactivate the product and that’s it! Hope this helps ❤️

i keep getting tempted to shave it off, but ik if i persist for at least a year, i can get this on my beard.. 3b-3c
How do you sleep and not mess your hair up)): I did this the other night and it was a mess by the AM😂
Silk scarf with applied mousse over the top of the head. Then put everything in a bonnet. Or you can change your pillow case to a satin one. Good luck
can i do this if i have 3a and 2c hair?

I did these in my head and I looked like Felicia🥴
