  • Jetson Eris Scooter - The rear fender broke and I needed to get it fixed! I used an aftermarket fender and it came out nice! This is a look inside the Jetson Eris components and a fairly simple fender hack. I used the Yungeln Fender on amazon that is compatible with the Xiaomi M365/Pro 1S Scooter.
Check out the fender on Amazon: amzn.to/3IeAfWw
The above link is an Amazon Affiliate link. Thanks for the support!

Does anybody know if the jetson Eris scooter has a fuse or circuit breaker?

I’m guessing you’re asking because your scooter isn’t working? Probably won’t turn on..? If so, more than likely a bad battery pack. I found a replacement battery that was a knock off brand, for about $100. Swapped it and the scooter works fine again. I would only recommend doing this if you’re good with your hands, which seeing as you know the difference in a fuse and a breaker, I’d assume you are. There’s a bit of issue with removing the bottom cover as screws are usually damaged from scraping pavement (at least in my case) and removing the battery pack, which involved finding careful ways to pry the double sided adhesive from behind it. And splicing of wires. Also lost fitment as the bracket that holds the battery in place no longer fit, so it required some extra padding to keep the battery still, in place, without the use of the old bracket (was my choice based on limited resources and little time for making brackets of my own)
I did some experimenting with the old battery to see what the deal was, since a voltage test seemed to check out, maybe half a volt lower than the rated voltage. So I tried to incorporate an extra battery in series to see if the electronics weren’t allowing the lower voltage to power it on (figured this might be a fail safe feature to prevent slightly depleted batteries from being run, more than likely a planned obsolescence tactic) and it allowed the scooter to turn on. I thought maybe I could just disassemble the battery pack and replace the bad cell but once I got the plastic wrapping off of it, I realized they’re spot welded and decided the $100 new battery pack would be worth the time saved for me at least. Anyways, I’d post you the link to the battery pack I purchased, but it was through my ex wife’s Amazon account so i don’t wanna deal with the hassle of asking her to find it in the order history and dealing with her drama lmao sorry. Just find a pack that has the same power ratings and measurements, wasn’t hard for me to find pretty quickly

Come on bro I'm sure you've watched tutorial videos before. Why wouldn't you get the actual process on tape? Dont title it "How to" if you don't actually show how.
