    I cannot thank you enough for this. Skeptics here are probably forgetting that this works only when the "scratch" is an apparent paint transfer or right below the protective coating. You have saved me a lot of money, and a good beating from my dad. Thanks a ton, bud. Cheers.

    WARNING: The rough side of the sponge will leave scratches and swirl marks on your cars finish. You can’t tell by this video because the car is white. If it’s a dark color you’ll be able to see it. Use something like a micro fiber cloth if you try this method or the soft side of the sponge only.

    Toothpaste has a very fine abrasive in it thats why some companies call it tooth polish, It’s very similar to car polish but tastes much better! The only thing I wouldn’t use is a dish sponge, a rag works just as good or a polishing sponge.

    Use the foam side of the scrubbing pad. Afterwards, use wax to bring back the glossness of the paint.

    Not only does it take off scratches smudges but it also takes off the clear coat and top paint surface.

    It would clean the dirt in between the scratches. It will not remove scratches.

    You used colgate and scrotch bite to basically scrub the paint off that part. It might look like the scrathes are gone but the finish of that part has also gone forever.

    i use carnuba wax. all those scratches (deep or not) dissapeared plus the paint becomes shiny and smooth and it last long.

    I used a normal sponge with toothpaste on black plastic bike fairings and i had massive scratches, after about 2 mins with toothpaste the scratches came straight out 👍🏼

    Just don’t forget to polish the car afterwards with wax or any polishing compound of your choice to get the shine back and protect it. Toothpaste is just a super fine cutting compound that just works 👍🏻

    tooth pase is good for bad colour head light , wipe it on let it dry use dry cloth and rub it off. it work trust me

    DELUSION!!!
    A dealership salesman told me most vehicles manufacturers uses white primer on all their vehicles and in this demo your car is painted white, so it just appears the scratches were removed when using toothpaste, Try this method again on a darker painted vehicle and prove your point.

    STUPIDEST IDEA EVER why not just buy rubbing compound it's not expensive and won't leave a matte finish/damage your clear coat rubbing the ruff side of that sponge will scratch the hell out of your clear coat

    Maybe toothpaste will help. But this sponge so destroys enamel that just cry. It will be evident after washing the car. Total stupidity.

    I had these same kind of scratches on a white honda accord I recently bought. I used turtle wax liquid wax and some elbow grease. Came out very nice and no more black scratches.

    thinner works better and most of the time the scuffs are finger paint or nail particles. never use abrasive pad unless you plan to paint after

    It only removes paint scuffes only. Not Scratches!!! Even warm water can remove scuffes!!!!

    Dont use toothpaste or wd 40 on paint surface .bcs it will damage the clear coating and make paint fade soon its my personal experience

The plastic bumper area near the wheel is scraped, due to scraping with another car. The paint is flaked off, I can see black color underneath just like in video. The scratches area is 2 inches long, about 3 mm wide. There is no metal or plastic cut thankfully. Do you think toothpaste will work? I am worried rental company will charge hell

    It helped take out the other car’s paint from my car.

    Using a micro fibre cloth takes a lot of time and the green side of the sponge he used will put fine microscratches in your car’s paint.

    Omg this video safe my life 😂😂😳😳 i decide to give it a try, and guess what everyone it worked my car is black and it remove all the scratches obviously not the ones that where deep that remove the paint but the ones that where over the pain it did.... definitely give it a try you won’t loose anything besides time 😁😁😁

    Highly recommend!!! Instead of the sponge or any hard surfaces just use water and microfiber cloth after 5 min, wipe it off with water, thank me late 😊

    DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR CAR, IT WILL MAKE A HUGE MESS OF SCRATCHES WHICH WILL TAKE HOURS TO COMPOUND AND POLISH AWAY, dont trust me, look when he does the side mirror it turns matt white from glossy due to all the scratches hes making, never use the coarse side of a dishwashing sponge, OOOORR JUST DONT USE A DISHWASHING SPONGE ON A CAR!!!!     First of all I suggest not to use this on your Chrome door handles or any chrome polished area of your car...
    This trick not only remove your scratchs but also remove body paint of other subject on your car... I got scratches and red color from a bus on my car and now it's gone... Thanks a lot...

    There stufff called polish ..it may work depending on how bad it is it will work for your foggy headlights..someting they charge 200 dols to clean...i have tried toothpaste and was not effective....music sure sounds great in this video. Though...

    It will put more scratches on car. Paint shops use these to remove the paint.

    The scotch brite, will it not make more scratches to the car ? This might be a temporary fix, but because of new scratches, it will bring more spots, sooner
