Met the lead singer afterwards, me and my friends were waiting in line to meet the opening act and all of a sudden she was standing RIGHT NEXT to us and we about died. Really one of the sweetest people ever. Had never heard of their music before, but I was very pleased.

Interesting story. I drive for Uber and it was just another standard night. I pick up this girl close to my house in central Texas; she was visiting her sister. This girl was super nice and very talkative. It was a long ride and midway I ask her what she does for a living. It was this girl Mandy; she told me she was the lead singer for MisterWives. I had never heard of them so I put this song on and she started singing along with it. Very cool and easily one of my favorite Uber rides ever!!! Thank you Mandy for being sweet and making a great memory.

The chorus is super catchy and with a pop kind of groove, they break this vibe when they add the indie style 'ooh's in the final part of the chorus. I like this song, don't get me wrong, but i think they could have made in the top pop musics of the year if their focus was around the chorus, and alot less indie.
