Duuh, it's purposely built lightweight mid engine sports car,f.. practicality.Seems that point of this car is achieved beacuse everyone who drove it go straight and buy it. Alfa 4C is the testament of how hard is to build this kind of car.
The practicality problem in the beginning gets overlooked so often in reviews of this car. I daily drive an MX5, it's my only car. Considered one of these. But trunk size is roughly the same as the Miata, but spread over trunk and frunk. Trunk gets super warm when driving as well. And not even a roof to open. Compared to a Cayman, it's laughable in this regard. Unfortunate, because I love the concept and am willing to compromise, but this is pretty much impossible to own as your only car.
Thank you for this comment, and I love a Miata, it’s on my want list. For the record, I think the Alpine is a GREAT sports car. But just not that great as a GT. I just need my stuff when traveling :).
Disagree. I had an MX5 ND for 3 years as my only car and upgraded to the A110. This EASILY has so much more space is an easier car to live with than the MX5. Plus ot runs circles around them in every way😂
It's actually not too bad. Sure, you have to accept compromises, but be honest: Do you need more than one bag and jacket or a small space for daily purchases? Not the vast majority of the time. It's a bit like campers who want to be prepared for anything and end up with a car they actually don't need and didn't want in the first place. You lie to yourself.
Bang on with the lack of storage and the crap sound system, speakers excluded, otherwise brilliant. Loved mine for the 8 moths I had it. Then went back to a 981 Cayman GTS because it sounded better and could be road tripped practically for two. I still look at Alpines and love them so much but for 2 people on a road trip, fit a tow bar and hope the trailer doesn’t tip over. Oh and aren’t we in a trade war with France and emperor Macpoleon.
@@johnnypovdrives Don't worry, french too can't live with Macpoleon, expect the next five years to be such chaos for France that we haven't seen it since quite a while. Please don't associate frenchs (or not all at least) with that guy and sorry for the damages (that sounded french).

What’s the purpose of your video? Why don’t you arrive with a 100l wine barrel to board in the hold? It’s a sport car, not a van to go shopping🤣. There are some plastics like some VW cars, ok, but if you want luxury stuff in your car, you buy Jaguar at minimum twice the price for the same performance. People buy Alpine for the ratio performance price consumption which is really the best one 👍
Hi Jp, thanks for watching & your comment! Of course it is a sports car. But so is a 911. And that almost fits your wine barrel. In my videos, I’m trying to give the viewer an experience what it’s like to live with one of these cars. The things that strike me when testing them, the hard plastic is a surprise because the rest of the door looks so premium. And for the price indeed it is one of the best out there, just don’t take it shopping. ✌️😄
@@johnnypovdrives thank you for your reply, I love porsche, and I love Alpine also. I just think that this two sport cars are for two different customers. It is good to have different sport cars on the market so everyone can be satisfied.

What the engine the car uses?
I love your videos could you do one on the new Fiat 500, i though you would be the right one for a detailed review in under 5 mins.

£585 road tax never mentioned by any youtuber
Probably because road tax - and purchase price - is different in all countries. That’s why I hardly ever mention it in the video.
162 EUR vehicle tax in Germany. That's actually pretty few.
