Thing is, there is no gap. If you’ve seen footage of the switch track in action, you’d see that the gray cylinders on each end of the moving piece of track actually slide forward a bit and lock into place, creating a completely smooth track with no gaps at all.
I live an hour plus drive from Six Flags NJ and have ridden Kingda Ka dozens of times. I have to ride this...TT2 looks amazing! The park did a create job revamping this ride! The ride experience looks more complete. Also going to the LSM launch style eliminates many reliability issues associated with hydraulic launches. Does anyone prefer this over Kingda Ka?!
Coaster is making contact with the LSM fins from too much lateral movement, you can see the blue painters tape the they are using to find contacts points.
I was wondering this too. When I was there, it sounded like the “squealing” was coming from a box located between the TT2 lockers and the main pathway. It’s in a mulched area under some trees. To me, that’s where it was the loudest.
it's hilarious seeing all these people ride then days later the ride is closed LMAO just never fails... and so many people inline holding items not knowing once they get out of line to put their stuff in the locker they gotta go all the way back to the end of the line
Very poor camera work!! All the zooming in spoils what could have been great footage, show the ride in its entirety without zooming in that way the viewer will get to see how high this beast is, quit trying to be some artsy videographer it's not working !!!!
That base sound at 1:40 is so good! Such a great launch sequence. Hopefully I can get back on it next year. It was such a great ride!
That’s me waving my arms around like a maniac at 3:32🤣
It’s insane how fast it passes that switch track! Especially with the gap after the track locks, those are some big boy wheels

Surprised you didn’t pick up on that tbh 😂
@@thelord6898there are still gaps, surprised you didn’t pick up on that tbh
@@Alex-th9tw Oh what an absolute zinger of a “comeback”! How many nights you stay up crafting that masterpiece?
@@thelord6898 it wasnt a comeback im coming atcha
Great angles!! Perfect shots!! Thanks for making this!!
Forget the negative comments, you captured many excited, happy smiles, and made me smile. Can't wait.
Great video! This ride is iconic, old or new.
Top Thrill 2 looks unbelievable
1:57 For a sec, I thought that was Jimmy Kimmel
By the way the footage is excellent. Several great moments coming down the spike. And all those happy faces...

"always closed 2" is the new name of this ride

Did they slow down the third launch? Idk if its just me but it looks slower over the top hat than it did on media day
It mostly depends on how many people are on the train.
They slowed it down because the lsm and the trains where making contact to much shaking
I swear that guy in the red shirt in the thumbnail looks exactly like my chemistry professor lmao
😂😂
What is that constant ringing for? Even when the launch isnt going its ringing 😅
It’s the launch countdown.
I think those are the blowers to cool the lsm's

Ready to go
Beachcliff Studios @ 12:33
Too bad it probably won't reopen till next season.
The should have half the cars facing forward and the other half facing backward
Man I do not like all of this footage, it’s all up close
You’re free to watch something else
