Pretty nice run; congratulations on becoming the first in the west to NMNB this extra! This reminds me that I tried a bit too hard to graze things when I was attempting this a while ago, maybe I'll get back to it at some point. The run was really well, also I probably should adopt the route you used for Lunatic Impact, since I still fail that spellcard a bit more than I should.
My route is to circle it but with a few small general tweaks: - Avoid spending time moving horizontally, move mostly when there are no "star waves" and get to the other side - Downwards movement can be done somewhat unfocused to deal more amulet damage. - Upwards movement is mostly focused so you can't slip into a star at 1 billion kilometers per hour. I tried to base my "circle direction" on where Hecatia was gonna move to (so I can hit her while moving upwards and focussing). She went to the left here, so I moved clockwise. If you can get all 3 moons to sync up both in position and "wave timing", you can even somewhat speedkill it as long as you just pay good attention to the micrododges you will have to do then.
Really nice run!... This Extra is indeed weird in that simply clearing it is somewhat hard (2nd hardest Extra to clear, the hardest Extra to just clear first time still goes to Koishi by far, IMO), despiste the easy stage section and some of the spells, Hecatia´s nons (Those things have absurd HP), and Lunatic Impact make it actually pretty hard to No Bomb, let alone do a Perfect! 8:02 is there any trick for that spell or is just random dodges? Also No idea people considered Yukari as being among the hardest extras... Flandre I get, Koishi of course, but Yukari?
Yukari being exceptionally difficult is mostly a thing people think that haven't played the games too much yet. But because her stage is "Phantasm" difficulty, many expect it to be above all extra stages. Also, Border of Life and Death is the first image you will see on Google Images if you type "bullet hell". That card has huge popularity for looking crazy, yet it's very calm in difficulty honestly. This stage has things that are a lot worse! Also, that spell is just random dodging. If I have any strat it's just "stay at the very bottom".
Um yeah its true that spellcard is very famous, plus Yukari herself is know to be very powerfull and stuff, and all of this along with the "Phantasm" label can lead to people to think its harder than it really is...when its just a sligthly harder version of Extra. The true Phantasm Stage to me is Koishi, for a first clear. For a Perfect clear, this Extra is probably even worse than koishi´s-
SA is quite easy for Extra perfect clear. I have 2 1-miss runs from more than 2 years ago (long before I did LNBs, let alone LNNs) that only died to Philosophy of a Hated Person.
Fantastic run as always. I have something minor but interesting to point out regarding that last spell btw. The special spellcard background emblem of junko in the last spellcard is ACTUALLY ON HECATIA INSTEAD OF JUNKO!! WHY IS THAT? What are your thoughts about it?
Please tell me if Sanae gets the job done more easily ! That part when at the end Hecatia looks injured tho she wasn't shot. Finishing the battle with both disappearing would make more sense. But ZUN doesn't update old games.
