I already saw the LNNN in stream, it was a really cool run and I'm glad you ended up getting it, really scary during Tengu Frenzy's last second though... You almost got hit, also Okina's scorched earth and snowman spellcard seemed pretty tough here too but you handled them well. You also have the second LNNN now, not much later gobou got it so that's pretty neat, too.
Man I love the final song...but holy hell that fight is a mixed bag. Kudos to you, once ZUN makes Touhou 3D compatible I know who to call I get it's in tune with the seasons aspect, but mixing green bullets with a green background, blue and blue, etc is just murder on my eyes.

Currently I'm working on doing the same in UFO and if I still have motivation left, DDC as well, as those are the last 2 Windows "maingames" in which I still need to do that. Sure there's less amulets, but the balls come out way faster on Hard which has landed a lot more clipdeaths on me than I'd like to admit. Fantastic run, Yatz!
You thought the season items were bad...try recording PoFV... Needless to say there's a particle like item for every bullet spawned and it's even worse than this. Mainly an OBS thing though.
Oh yeah, hard mode Satono is way harder than lunatic. She's actually even harder on normal because the bullets spiral in an incredibly weird way and start clustering together, so anything in the bottom third of the screen is literally undodgeable. Think Koishi's "release of the id" heart spam spell card, but with turning bullets.
I might add that Normal Satono becomes a fair bit easier if you sweep across the screen in the direction the bullets rotate in. Aside from making the spell easier to deal with just in general, it also puts you in a better position to stay away from the bottom, though it makes the large orbs a little tougher to react to. On Hard I usually try and find one of those holes the pattern leaves, sit in the corner of that space, and then tap to the other corner to avoid the first set of large orbs. I haven't got it down yet, but it seems like it may work.
Can I ask for some of your thoughts / strats on reading Snowman? Are you looking far ahead for large clumps to know when to macro far to the side? That spell is toughhhhh!

Kind of wish you slowed down a bit with skipping through the dialogue parts would have been nice to be able to read them to get a better grasp of the story. Other than that well done wish I was good enough to do what you did XD
Gratz, but why did you use winter option? You can't abuse multiple lasers cause of no release and one isn't really that strong. Winter last spell isn't the easiest one either imo.
It's a pretty strong and versatile shot still, and more importantly, it lets you get Okina's Winter card, which, with Autumn is the less excruciating of the 4. Playing Summer or Spring in an LNNN is asking to be cheap shot
One laser is still really strong. ZUN actually intended for only the front laser to shoot, and that laser would be getting higher DPS the more season levels you have. Winter is probably the best season for focus damage. Summer deals way too little on bosses, Autumn definitely deals less damage and often requires awkward positioning. Spring might have good damage, but I don't want to deal with that final spell. Extreme Winter is actually not that hard. Only Crazy Fall Wind could be easier with strong routing. I've captured the "Full HP final phase" mod about 6 times before I had this LNNN, which is pretty much like doing the actual spell card 4 times in a row. Attacks like Behind Festival and Snowman of Abnormal Snowfall are much harder anyways. EDIT from 4 months later: Well now the "best" way to get HSiFS LNNN is with ReimuAutumn actually. Turns out her damage is pretty good as well and she has more scoring potential.
Danmakugamer No, I'd rank this one around SA difficulty. Earlygame is very easy (stage 2&3 are basically free), but the lategame is closer to games like UFO and LoLK. Especially the boss fights take a lot of practice and even with practice they can still ruin you whenever they want.
Touhou then- a game where you can move in four directions, with a hard difficulty. O ( )O Touhou 16- we can clear bullets and the game got easier... it only took about 20 fucking years

Yeah, you can look pretty far actually through the messy visuals. That's essentially what I do.

Only one option firing is intended, and it does scale with your winter gauge, so it works perfectly fine.
