    It is hilarious to me there is not middle and late game and ship combat guides yet. Admittedly the game is barely out but usually by now these types of guides would be all over. Just goes to show the complexity of the game.

    Tips from me. 1.Early boost is important but don't go ham... mission control becomes more important in the long run. 2. administration/orgs are the best at growing your power start stacking them early 3. have fun this game is awesome.

    I’m glad people are posting terra in it a content, but this is a 7 minute video and nothing before the 2:50 mark is relevant actionable or even specific to terra invicta. Saying that this is an essential video and doing a deep dive is a bit of a contradiction based on how this was laid out.
    The second tip about specialization was pretty good, but “know your councillors” is a bit reductive, “go for the resources you need” is a bit reductive as well. The water tip was good because it actually serves as an opinion and isn’t totally obvious.
    Looking forward to more videos, but wanted to provide the feedback

      Very helpful comment, thank you so much for taking the time to help me try and improve the channel! Next video we will be getting right into the content, which seems to be a big improvement that will be easy to implement with a little bit of thought and care. I'm really glad you were able to take a little something away from the video, that was very encouraging to hear.
      So happy to have you as part of the channel. A new Terra Invicta video will be posted tonight or tomorrow. It's going to be on a simple subject but I really want to try and open it up a little bit and make it easy for viewers to follow along. I hope to see you there so you can give me more feedback like this.

    Question? How do you build relation with the other factions? My 1st play through I ended up with in war with 4 factions as the resistance. With only humanity 1st tolerating me. The rest was in conflict. But I noticed that some of the AI factions were getting buddies with each other. I did nothing directly too aggregate the other factions too much. I mostly focussed getting ready aliens, hunting them down and get rid off all their xenoforming. So how can you improve relations with the other factions?

    • @Klepto-Bysmal1
      @Klepto-Bysmal1 2 года назад +3

      You have to find and investigate councilors from other factions, use the "Contact" mission, and establish non-aggression pacts with them in the trade menu.
      I believe you can also do that to establish peace, but I'm not 100% certain on that.

    • @dracodarastrix4175
      @dracodarastrix4175 2 года назад +1

      @@Klepto-Bysmal1 I did that but still they almost all became hostile to me, the neutral factions shouldn't have done that because they were focussed around india and china. I left them alone. Though I must mention that I did then obtain half of the european union, Usa, canada and Russland.

    Im having issues figuring out how to grab juicy plots on other celestial bodies. I tried playing a boost focused run but couldnt figure out how to build anything more than another orbiting platform in another space object

    • @williammacintosh1742
      @williammacintosh1742 2 года назад

      To set up bases on the ground you first need to send a prospecting probe, after that, if you have the resources available, you should have a button for found base/settlement appear illuminated under the body you want to build on.

    • @williammacintosh1742
      @williammacintosh1742 2 года назад

      Also, to find the best places to mine, go to the intel menu then find the small sub tabs along the top. Click on prospecting and then it's easy...I found this out yesterday, I was clicking through everything manually on the solar system map xD

    • @HierophanticRose
      @HierophanticRose 2 года назад

      Realistically unless you went with Russia/Kazakhstan or EU or US or another high boost country or set of countries you will not get Luna first (even then you might not because AI doesnt build a platform until it rushes a moonbase; if you are playing by tutorial you will be asked to build a platform first - you can see that most factions intel they will be sitting on their boost until moon opens up), if you are playing specific region or development style game you will be behind on the early game a bit. Aim to set up enough so you can build outpost from space by the time Mars rolls around.

    Got any tips for what strategies to do for early inner solar system habs/bases (LEO, moon, mars) I feel lost at what to do with my habs. Idk what I should build on my stations in LEO and when to start building ships

    • @williammacintosh1742
      @williammacintosh1742 2 года назад

      The advantage on having stations around Earth is they can contribute more to your research on the ground (I think!). For the rest of the system I'm stealing the best mining spots and starting to build a fleet to destroy the other factions space assets. (You can do orbital bombardment also :D)

    • @9kArdos3
      @9kArdos3 2 года назад +1

      You should be building what you NEED, or even better to build what you will need 30 minutes in the future. You should discover what you need.
      For example I'm well ahead the other factions in every aspect,
      but they started stealing my space assets.
      I have had for a long time thousands of materials to build ships but did not waste resources on them except what I specifically needed like one colony + explorer ship to get to Jupiter first.
      Now because they found a hole, stealing the hard earned assets, I instantly responded with building spaceships with marine soldiers to take them back, I'm likely to obliterate everything that isn't mine around my shipyards (Luna, Mars, Ceres) as fast as it is possible.
      You want the strongest asset you can get on Earth, like a unified EU continent, above all, unifications are your friend, you want to be around first on the Moon, on Mars, on Ceres and highest yield asteroids especially with precious metal + nuclear material.
      Space fleet superiority is the highest aim as far as I can see in my playthrough, you can not win ON Earth, you will always be outnumbered, evaded, etc...

      Well, watched your other videos and they don't deliver. A shame. Since you mentioned in your councillor video that you never even touched on orgs in your first game maybe you should play a few games where you explore all the aspects fully before jumping in and making guides that misrepresent things. There are enough videos out there muddying the waters and confusing things for newer players.

      This is a very insightful comment, I really wish I would have included some examples. Obviously, I can't go over every strategy in the game at this point because most strategies are still being figured out! Although, I think this comment is pushing me to explore how my information is tied together and its overall completeness.
      Really sorry this video missed the mark for you, but since you took the time to comment and express your views I can grow as a content creator so I really appreciate that. I will open up a brand new inquiry into the different strategies that can be enacted in Terra Invicta. I may make a video out of it, but if not I will come back to this comment and let you know what I found.

    Er, two specific things I would work on: Far more concise intros and outros, chill out on the segways, and just make everything more concise (Both the intro and outro are ~50s long! That's insane! They don't give you anything useful, and just repeat yourself.). You ramble. I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings, but you need to know. Second, you sound like you've got a cold or flu. Get healthy FIRST, then record. You sound like your nose is plugged. Yeah, that matters.

    Urgh, not helpful, even slightly. Big picture.... without explaining anything. I don't know any of the big pictures, I have no clue what I'm doing. Specialise, without explaining how, bloody unhelpful. Councilors are important, no shit, you explained NOTHING about how to use them better. Friend Vs Foe, this one is obvious, and thus, extremely unhelpful, of course I'm not going to annoy all the other factions. And finally, grab land before they do.... No shit! This game is insanely complicated, what I wouldn't give for a comprehensive guide to more of the advanced features.
