It would be sick if someone built a tribute downhill ski with these water ski graphics and modern rocker. A throwback ski with a modern twist would be epic! K2 would be perfect, of course. Maybe Icelantic?
I'm pretty sure he never took these to Argentina. They took up a lot of room in a ski bag. I think he just did a couple of practice laps in Bella Coola prior to his famous railslide.
Close--the Spatulas came before Shane mounted these skis. But he did take the rocker/reverse sidecut concept from surfboards and waterskis in designing the Spatulas. Then he mounted these waterskis and took them to Bella Coola, BC to prove a point. And he made that point clear.

K2 made a very limited edition pair of Pontoons with that graphic. I got a pair and now I just have to score some bindings to mount them up!

Shane already did that long ago. But he never backflipped these waterskis. They're pretty heavy. I think I'll leave that to someone else!
