You might be wondering why Professor is raising a hand with three of a kind in it. This game had a rule where if anyone won a hand with at least 3 of the same cards in their hand, every player at the table would have to give them $5k or $10k, can't remember exactly.

How does dwan win the last hand? If the other guy had a king? How does he play AQ and win? Isnt it a chop?

Each player must use two cards from their hand.
Dwan uses AQ-999; hand strength is trips (ace kicker)
Brad uses KJ-999; hand strength is trips (king kicker)
If Brad were to use his K to make a pair of kings then his hand would be KJ-K99; hand strength is two pair
Trips is a stronger hand than 2 pair.

In holdem(the two card game) you can use both, one, or none of the cards to make your hand. In Omaha(4 cardgame) you must use 2 and only 2 from your hand each time. This makes it so you cant chop a hand by each playing the board like you can in holdem, or cant use only one card from your hand to make a straight, flush, full house like you do in holdem@@Awillnotdoit
