I've been n the south all my life, South Carolina,raised on neckbones n Lima beans cooked together, turkey necks and rice, and collards with cornbread dumplings.. but never had zucchini lime cake 😆..it looks delicious thanks for sharing
May I offer three suggestions?
1) Folding in the add-ins 5 or 6 stirs will yield a muffin-like texture to the cake.
2) Sprinkling a little lime zest on top of the glazed cake will give it some pretty green speckles.
3) Make sure you take a piece to Granny the Great. 😊

My life story runs with yours, in so far as, I bought my bundt pan in an antique mall many years ago and still use it to this day. The Northland Company made the first bundt pans in 1950, the year before I was born. They still make them, but under the Nordic name. Your cake looked so tempting. I love to make heavier cakes in my pan, with applesauce, chopped dates, raisins, nuts etc. especially during the holidays. I like that the pan makes a pretty presentation, even without a sugary topping. and just feels so homey and wholesome.
I love having another zuchinni recipe to make with all the zuchinni that is in the garden. Thank you. 😊

Tipper, I have my Great Grandmaws old Bundt Pan and it's heavy and in great condition. It was handed down to my Mama and when she was no longer able to cook and bake anymore, I asked her if I could have it and all her other old Baking Pans and Cast Iron Pans n Dutch Ovens! She of course said yes bc I had the biggest family and I was always Cooking, Baking, Canning and Putting Up Food! Now, I have all of her stuff plus my own stuff I'd had and from my other Grandmaw n Aunts! I have so much and their old Bowls and Casserole Dishes! I am truly Blessed to have all this stuff from my Family's past! Truly Treasures! My daughter uses it now to cook for us and her children n grandchildren. I did share a few pieces with my 2 Sister's and my 2 nieces! They're all grown now and have their own families! My Son got a couple of pieces and with all that I probably still have around 55-60 pieces! They was 4 Bundt Pans all together but I have the Oldest and Best One which leads me to this. I saw this Recipe when you first put this Video out and after I watched it, I came back, got the Recipe and my Daughter helped me make it. My neighbor had given me some Zucchini and I made some bread but saved enough to make this Cake! I can't tell you how much we enjoyed this Cake! I put everything in it even the Pecans! I took some of the Lime Zest and Sprinkled it on top of the Icing! It made the Cake even prettier with it on top! My Goodness Sweetheart, this is one of the Best Cakes I've ever tasted in my life! Thank you so much Sweet Tipper! I had to splurge to make it but, Splurge I Did! Lol. I know you shared some with Sweet Precious Granny! I know she enjoyed it Tremendously! Give you Sweet Family my Hello' s and them Babies Kisses on their Sweet Cheeks for me! I know I haven't left to many comments lately but I tend to talk alot so I tried to slow down some dear! I'm still kicking here in Blue Ridge and hanging in there! I had to tell you tho, that I made your Cake and how Tasty it is. Tell Matt that I'm with him. I like Lime to. Thank you again Dear for this Recipe! It's a Keeper just like all your other ones! I wrote them down in my Spiral Notebook that I started way back some time ago for Special Recipes! I didn't have zucchini in my garden this but I had an abundance of cucumbers. I substituted grated cucumbers in my lemon-zucchini bread. Delicious.

Your Bundt cake pan is ✔️. I have my great grandmothers cast iron Bundt Pan. I use it to put uncracked nuts in at Christmas. 🎉

Dear Tipper, you have a lovely family, and a blessed life. I so enjoy watching your videos, and learning the Appalachian way of cooking. I listened to the music you posted on the blind pig and the acorn, and I just love it. Such talent. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, and life with us. May God continue to bless all of you daily. Oh, before I go, I wanted to let you know about a gardening technique that should be a great help to you, as you do not seem to get lot of rain. About 2 years ago I got real sick, and during the time I was recovering I started to watch you tube. I came across a video called 'Back to Eden.' It shows how a fella named Paul, who through the grace of the Lord learned how to garden God's way. I thought you all might enjoy watching it, and utilizing the tips, and techniques to grow abundently, and with very little watering. My family, and I are preparing our beds this fall, and will be planting this Spring. I will let you know how it goes. Again, thank you, and God bless. 🙏❤😊

I'm watching you make kraut in jars. My mom loves Hot Kraut and the family loves it.
She choppes up the Kraut cuts up Green tomatoes lots of jalapeno peppers. Mixes in a big bowl and puts it in the jars. She adds Tablespoon of salt and hot water .

Looks pretty and tasty. I like zucchini bread, good for breakfast over several mornings, and I like things on the plain side. I have a Shaker recipe for lemon bread. Out of the oven you pour over lemon juice mixed with a little granulated sugar--gives it a bright, tart flavor. I wonder if you could do that with zucchini bread instead of a glaze. Maybe lime juice instead of lemon.
I went to look up this recipe as I was watching your video and you popped up! There were many entries and some used walnuts but it was nearly otherwise identical. I have zucchini to use up and I think I'll try this as I also love lime like your husband. Thank you, tipper. And congrats on your grandbabies. How blessed you all are!

Oh WOW!! I just made this it's great. I did make couple substitutions with sugar . Used Splenda and coconut palm brown sugar. In the glazed I use the coconut palm sugar with the lime juice and made just more like a glaze turned out great. Thank you!

That cake recipe looks like a really good one. It looks delicious. This time of year, it's nice to have different ways to use zucchini. I found a zucchini in the garden I missed -- so, yes, it was huge. I canned up Mock Pineapple Zucchini with it. I was surprised that it really does taste like pineapple.

Tipper one of favorite things are zucchini and coconut ,zucchini bread i have had but not cake i also love making zoodles and eating with meat balls or marinara sauce instead of sphagetti thank you so much for this recipe

This is an interesting recipe, I'll have to try it. This week I made a zucchini pineapple cake that was real good. I used applesauce for half of the oil amount. The cake also had nuts and raisins in it. Lots of ways to use zucchini for sure!

I’ve never heard of zucchini cake. 🎂 I’m gonna make that one. My husband is gonna be shocked. His whole family and mine love zucchini bread loafs,muffins and soon to be cake.
