I love how you're carrying on your family tradition of floating the river. And good for you for pushing yourself to sew something; it turned out lovely.
Your adorable baby is growing so fast. I love when he’s in your carrier with his little feet hanging out. Well done on your skirt! Wear it with happiness in your heart for being successful.
Man, that’s some yummy munchies you packin’. We pretty much had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, carrots, & celery sticks, and if we were lucky those little cheese sandwich crackers or apple and orange slices! I love that you attempted the skirt even though you were not comfortable about it. I had to chuckle when you tried it on and spun around! Your smile was so big!😉😊♥️
I loved all of this video. I'm so inspired by you trying something new EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN SEWING! I would have made a tot bag and wore it over my shoulder 😄 You are good at so many things. Your food looks so delicious. I love that you love babies 😊
What wonderful memories! My Mama used to make our camping trips so much fun growing up! I’m sixty-two now and still remember those trips! Your sweet ones will never forget these times!💕 Good job on your skirt! That was a challenging pattern; pockets, gathering…Wow! I was in the eighth grade when Mama allowed me to use her sewing machine. She was such a skilled seamstress that she would tell me the next step without even looking at the directions! I had to take sewing in high school to learn how to read a pattern. My best friend and I made most of our clothes. You’re probably too young to remember wrap around skirts. I loved them! As always, such a great episode!!! BTW, I love those little legs sticking out of that wrap! They sure are getting longer! Too cute! I could write all day on your videos! Thank you!🙌🏻🫶🏻💕 🛶 🥯
Way to get into the spirit of your sister's get together! You were blessed by stretching yourself with quality time with your daughter and giving her the chance to be the one who knew more. That probably is a rare thing for her. Can't believe how many things you made this video. I am impressed. Your family is spoiled! Hope the river floating was a blast! Baby really zonks out in the wrap!!! God bless!
Mmmm.. the cheese waffles look amazing! And with the over medium egg & bacon too🤤 As a kid i was raised on the water too. I was either at the river with my dad or my best friends family. Or I was at the lake where both my dads sisters owned homes & both had boats. My dad just loved fishing so I was always with him every other weekend so that's when we went .. he & my mom divorced when i was very young. As I got older all the teens hung out at the river, my best friend was allowed to use her dads boat. Then when I got married we had a jet ski for about 5yrs & eventually a boat. Several friends had boats & jet skis & my nephew & his wife had a pontoon. So my kids were raised on the same river, and sometimes the lake. The river was closer & had beaches so we went there more often. My aunts had long sold their lake homes so we only went to the lake if my nephew was going with the pontoon. We enjoyed camping all weekend & all the water sports.. sking, tubing, & knee boarding was the thing then where its wake boarding now. We loved all the snacking & different foods too. We'd take a table top grill or cook over a fire with a metal grate if we started the weekend. Sometimes we had the bigger grill on the pontoon. Just depended what we decided to eat.. hot dogs roasted over the fire was always a hit! I loved cooking breakfast in a cast iron skillet over a fire with a grate!😋 But I truly miss those days & hate my grandchildren aren't getting those same experiences. The oldest went several times when he was really young. Now the kids just go to one of the beaches or the springs.. there's a large amount of places to swim & enjoy water here in Florida of course, but its just not the same as the river fun we had back in NC! Enjoyed sharing river experiences with you! Hope your family had ton of fun!😊
Love ur dining room wall treatment I want beadboard 2/3 up my wall then wallpaper and thick wooden hooks to hang spindle back chairs like the Amish! Plus shelves above any door ways in kitchen, pantry, dining room to use space wasted usually. And working clerestory windows thruout house and above interior doors for circulation.
Great video loved The skirt someone who can’t so you didn’t do too bad at all hope the river trip went well I was quite jealous and like to have been there with you 😊😊❤
I watch your sister Andrea's channel too. I LOVE it, Iook forward to Wednesday's new video. Lisa is the OG when it comes to sourdough and I love all of your cleaning/natural care recipes.
Here in Nebraska we go "tanking". We use a metal stock tank that can fit a few adults or children. We also use giant innertubes as well as kayaks and canoes. There is even a contest of decorating the stock tank and having a race. We float down stream then find a place to stop and eat or have squirt gun fights. A large size innertube or several are packed with coolers, food and drinks. It's great fun. I bet your kids love this outing for your family. Your children are so blessed by their parents!! God Bless
I can't sew really either. This would be a stretch 😂. Good for you! I have made beginner dresses that basically involved cutting the bottom 3rd off of a tshirt and then attaching a skirt to it.
I can not sew at all 🥴 I never have been interested in it to be honest, but I love to watch people make things online RUclips. I enjoy watching you cook and bake 😊
Thanks for sharing this very interesting video! I enjoyed watching every minute of it. Congratulations on the success of the final product of your skirt 😊
Well the skirt looks great. I am new at sourdough made my first loaf and it was a failure. I think the issue was the dough was too moist. I watched so many videos saying do not add too much flour well I won’t give up but I did put the starter in refrigerator until it gets cooler outside.
It's so funny ur talking about sewing. I just read an email from Lisa wanting to know what we'd like to learn more about. I said all of it, but if she could do sewing for dummies, it would be awesome! Your skirt looked very pretty! Also, could you maybe think about doing a step by step tutorial for soap making?
I'm one of those people who cannot make sourdough bread for anything. I can't get a starter growing. I am however a quilter and believe me we are constantly learning.

Soooo true!!!
Wonder if your kiddos realize that most families don’t eat such delicious homemade food day in and day out…they are sure to be happy and healthy!
You are the best ! Your daughter being appalled 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Your vlogs are a treasure, I truly mean it! So sweet. Baby growing so fast! Childhood memories…glorious to relive ❤❤❤
So funny to see this video. That fabric is exactly same as my living room curtains.

The skirt was adorable. Loved it.
The river trip sounds like a lot of fun!! Great food to take along too!!! Your skirt turned out cute.
The only thing that I have sewn is a rag quilt-all straight lines. Nope, not a sewer at all. Good for you for taking on that challenge. 🎉❤
Enjoyed.
I think that you are fantastic!
Great video loved The skirt someone who can’t so you didn’t do too bad at all hope the river trip went well I was quite jealous and like to have been there with you 😊😊❤
I love the videos when you make ‘to go ‘ food ! That is my biggest struggle ! Then I grab chips and premade junk !
A tip for super smooth hummus. Boil the canned chic peas in water and some baking soda until very soft, and then blend. No more chunky hummus!
HAPPY FRIDAY Laura, family, fur babies, and feathered friends. FOOD LOOKED DELISH! Thanks for all tips and ideas. Enjoy your weekend. STTB
I’m thrilled to have a yeast recipe!!
I watch your sister Andrea's channel too. I LOVE it, Iook forward to Wednesday's new video. Lisa is the OG when it comes to sourdough and I love all of your cleaning/natural care recipes.
You did it!! I've learned to bake sourdough over the last year and a half so I can identify with learning something new!

Don't be so hard on yourself. The skirt looks pretty good! ❤🇨🇦
Great video! The bagels would be so delicious and fresh!😃
Great video! Blessings.
I admire you for trying! I probably would have just “made” a bandana/ headband, lol 😅😂
Haha I thought about it! 🤣
I did enjoy this video - and I think your skirt turned out so cute!
Your skirt you made is really cute! Love it!
Great job!
❤ My Mom was sewed when I was young, but the best I’ve ever done is a pillow case. 😂 No baking - that’s my strong suit!
Yes my daughter is learning to see at age 11 but I don't know anything! I hate sewing 😂 I'm trying to encourage her along.
I love watching your vlogs ❤
It bring me such peace ❤ I love the farm life ❤ your voice is so relaxing ❤

How do you do your latte
Hello from NC
You're skirt turned out nicely. ❤❤❤
Do you have any suggestions for towels in a hard water climate that become very scratchy? Anyone please?

I said all of it, but if she could do sewing for dummies, it would be awesome! Your skirt looked very pretty! Also, could you maybe think about doing a step by step tutorial for soap making?
I have several soap tutorials on RUclips! You can search “our oily house soap tutorial” 😀
God bless

Oh I’m sure!! That’s impressive!
Your skirt is do cute.I haven't sewn since the 7th grade when a teacher made me redo an invisible zipper 4 times and I'm 66 yrs old.😅
Oh what baby wrap is that? It looks like the once your sister used last year, I never could find it! I’m 34 weeks and looking for one just like that
Yum ,
What fabric do you use for fabric softeners?
Any cloth or flannel
Nice skirt. Good for you!
If you see this comment please tell me where you get those ceramic bowls that you use. Lisa has them too.
I thrifted them 😊
I need to make bagels, I love that you make delicious sandwiches out of them. I have a fear of using yeast, I know I’m weird…lol
👏👏👏👏
❤
You are so awesome so amazing!!!
Patricia
I only watch occasionally but each time there seems to be a newborn? How many kids are there??
❤😊
Don’t feel bad. The only thing I can sow is my fingers. Lol
Just curious, what’s the meaning of “our oily house”?
She used to share alot of recipes for using essential oils.
Can you tell me your youngest sister’s RUclips channels name
🤎🤎🤎love from Norway🇳🇴🤎🤎🤎
Have you ever hung your clothes outside..fresh air is free..get rid of the tumble dryer....
How incredibly judgemental of you. Choose for yourself, let others choose for them
I think you need to go back to sleep to try and wake up on the right side of bed. You obviously didn’t get a good nights sleep.
Hi Laura! Your dress turned out very pretty! You did great. I am always amazed at how easy you make bread making look. 👍 Take care and God bless! ❤🙏
Thank you so much!😊
skirt needs more of a waist, otherwise pretty.
I realize you don't film every aspect of your life, but when do you find time to school your children? You are very busy!
