Life with Devotchka just feels fucked up and full of hope at the same time in a beautiful way that makes me love more these moments on earth...
Man this is as good as Radiohead, Keane, Madrugada... such a hidden gem between these billions songs... such luck to discover it...love it!

@@wijtweeun ... Jack Sobel sounds more human to me 🙂... The War On Drugs I like, yes, special kind of music. A voice of a god of music is the one of Eddie Vedder to me. 🙂 And the Zeus of music for me is Freddie.
@@Atleastonesongeachday I am not a fan of Pearl Jam except the song Black. I see an other band of him Temple of the Dog so i can remember i know some songs. And for me a great 90's band is Catherine Wheel i have all albums except Wishfill. And i have the solo album of Rob Dickinson. Since i am a Alt Indie/Shoegaze fan i don't listen so much Queen or Coldplay etc..See my music list on YT. I find your music i think you are older than me? I first heard How It Ends from the Gears of War 2 trailer a long time ago. That song never gets old
I was expecting something good, but this hopeful/mournful sound they've always had is hitting new heights here. Excellent album.

Jö Sonnenschein Am 29.11 spielt DeVotchKa im Frannz Club in Berlin. Viel Spass, falls hingehst :) Ich geh nach Kriens bei Luzern, das ist näher, ich lebe in Süd-D. Ich muss die unbedingt sehen und hören.
Jarl Thoresen Geht mir genauso. Ich hab die nur durch Zufall kennen gelernt. Und seitdem bin ich verliebt. Überwiegend halten Sie sich ja in Denver auf
Jö Sonnenschein Ja, so ging es mir auch. Totaler Zufall und danach schockverliebt in die Band. Sie sind in Europa weitgehend unbekannt, umso schöner, dass sie kommen. Ich habe mir die Kniescheibe, Schien- und Wadenbein gebrochen, latsche seit Monaten an Krücken, aber ich werde nach Kriens fahren und mir DeVotchKa anschauen und anhören und wenns das letzte im Leben ist :) Das lasse ich mir nicht entgehen. Ich habe vorhin gesehen, Berlin ist leider ausverkauft :(
