Nicely done on the flower pot bed. The chips look good also. You never seem to make the things you do look very difficult. Have a great weekend Sarah⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Great planter Sarah, you're very handy with DIY, I think that homemade planters and beds make the best look in the garden because it was homemade 😊😊 looking forward to your next video and seeing the cabbage in their new bed ❤ Thank you for sharing with us xxxxx
That planter is going to look great, a little paint and whatever you decide to plant, another success for the allotment ! Looks as good as the rest and even better with all your personal touches. You go Sarah !! Love and Hugs from Sacramento, Ca. 🥰🥰 xx
Its all growing well Sarah and you made a good job of the planter. Its all looking lovely now and I can't wait till next week to see what you get up to.🐝🐞🐌
Those wood chips came in handy for sure. I admire the fact you can look at a pile of material and visualize what you are going to do with it, I would have to draw a schematic! The planter looks great on the bricks it doesn't need legs...
Easier on your feet and knees to walk on wood chips instead of stones. I know because that is what I had in a big part of my backyard. Had it all covered with a very big deck because of it. Still your stones are coming handy after all. Having looked at your previous tour video showing us the others' plots I noticed 3 at least had some sort of stoned pathway designs. Not fair for you I think. Thank you for taking your precious time to make this video for us. Looking forward to your next one. Canada.
Nice job. So much work! Glad to hear you take a minute to enjoy the fruits of your labor with a brew! In USA that would mean beer. In UK that means tea!
Sarah you are awesome CANNOT wait to see what you do next. You do brilliant signs & you design the community space also you are a treasure ♥️. Looking forward to seeing more of your ideas soon 💕
That planter you made turned out good. And using the bricks is a good idea. I'm sure everything is gonna come along fine. Wanna share something incredible that happened. Today I took our little dog Snickers outside before took my wife out to dinner. A young buck was in the side yard I showed you last Sunday. He was making his way to the pear trees to get a bite and came about 10 feet away from me as I got pears off the tree for himand tossed them to him to eat.also a squirrel came down the tree and was petting distance from me when filling my bird feeders.
Err Sarah we didn't do a 'walk by' for the planter lol. I think you've done a smashing job on it. Yes the wood chippings really stand out and looks neat and tidy where it is. I hope your polytunnel was intact after last night's storm. Thanks for the lovely video. Have a nice bank holiday weekend xx
Don't panic, things are growing out of sync all over the world. We've had plenty of sun here yet fruit and veg are not growing as fast or as good as usual. It all looks wonderful, you should be so proud 🙂
I'm in your same predicament. I have been building my garden infrastructure for the last four years. We finally finished the main work and I've placed almost all my beds now but it was a bit late for spring planting. I only started a few seeds myself because I had to focus on the building so I bought most of my plants this year and it was a good tradeoff. Next year is going to be awesome with all the beds I have in place now and much more opportunity to care for seedlings. It's okay to be in process and your allotment is looking great. I know you said you had a completely different design before and you have pictures. Would you be willing to share those with us? Hopefully I didn't miss that in a past video. Thanks!
hi Sara, I’ve been really enjoying your Allotment videos. I find you very down-to-earth and easy to watch. I’ve had an allotment for seven years. I’m okay on the growing thing… But I really struggle with tools and stuff. I don’t even understand the difference between drills. I’m sick of having to ask men for help LOL… Can you make a video that explains which drills and which saw you are using? Because I want to buy them all? I’m just so confused about which one to make holes which ones to screw in - what’s the difference between an impact drill and a normal drill? I’m so bamboozled if you would just explain how you put the holes in (with which drill bit size & screws) and also what size screws you are using… That would really help me out. Also, what is the saw that you cut the wood with? I really want to buy one and do I need to buy two drills? Thanks - I'm Autistic & I'm 53 & still confused x
@@juxtaposed1358 gosh your thinking I know what it is I’m doing lol the saw I use is a cordless jigsaw . You don’t need two drills it’s just less messing if you have two . I will do a video on it but you won’t see it for ages as I’m filming very much in advance .
Hi Sarah. I’ve never used strulch before but I looked it up. Although it’s great for plants, it can impair germination if you’re growing from seeds. Did you use it last year on your sunflowers? It’s hard for us to judge growth because the videos are from earlier in the season Next year maybe add a calendar reference to let us know a rough timeline. Just a thought 💚💛🧡🩵💜
