Wow. Look at that bore scope. The way technology is improving it's really something. I wonder when they will get so good that a guy could do his own colonostropy at home, or something.

Man I had the same problem with my old 63 Pan years ago. But it was the negative ground wire kept coming out of the fitting causing the the bike to stop running. It happened for 11 Miles in a construction zone with no place to pull off. It would cut out I would downshift and bump the motor. Run a little and happen again. Finial got to pull off at a rest area. Saw the wire hanging in the 6 volt batt box. Replaced the fitting and away I went. Rode from KY to Iowa and back. Dam I miss that Pan.

Man, that stinks. One of the worst places to break down at. Lucy has been converted to a 12 volt system. Those old panheads are getting harder to find. Thanks for watching and commenting.

It is certainly more pleasant having the room to work and out of the weather. But getting it done is still getting it done!

I didn't realize you could run a primary chain without a chain adjuster at all. Thought it was a mandatory part.

It was a later invention to prevent having to readjust the transmission and rear chain.
