Hello Mr Butler, HELP, I love your show and learned much, but now I’m in trouble. My 1996 Harley Dyna needs the Drive belt changed. In the process of removing the primary, my two Allen head starter bolts stripped out. The inner section of the bolt that is made to receive the Allen bit stripped out. What do I do now??? Thanks for another good video , i enjoyed it Sir !! Bought a 98 SuperGlide about 3yrs ago , only thing wrong with it , wouldnt idle, had no rear brakes , really clean bike , custom paint. I rode it 146 miles home , I figured it might clear up on the ride home , but it didnt. An Ol boy said bring it to me , it sat there 2yrs , He wanted me to buy an S&S carb, i said no cant afford it to start with , and could nt tell any difference between them & a CV as far as performance . had the carb cleaned , still no back brakes , i ordered a used master cylinder off Ebay , I had a time getting to it , remove the mufflers, nothing about it was simple , couldnt get to the screws either on the lid. but finally got it off & the other one on , bled & all. I think really all that was wrong was the crush washer where the line tied to the master cylinder . When i got done with it , You can now reach the two screws in reservoir, i aint no mechanic , but unfortunatly have to my own wrenching since i retired .Sorry to be Long winded!! Take Care !!

even the 700 magna's ran great after some carb tuning.but never a match for the 1100.why i bought a 700.less chance of killing myself.all the speed i'll ever need.new suspension tires & brakes was definately worth it.other than the VMAX, the V65 was in its own zip code.

I recently changed my motor mount on my Road King. I didn’t know that there was a “new style” and “old style” but the one I received looked different. After further investigation I discovered that the one on my bike was the “new style” so it had been changed before. I also discovered that it was mounted upside down, which you mentioned the potential of happening. I guess this was a common mistake when the new style came out. I noticed that you mentioned this. Great video and informative content. Thanks for sharing!

Last year I bought a 96 roadking sat 12 years in the mountains garage it was green it stank lije mold. I took it to a local shop. Needed tires, forks rebuild, carb, and give it a good look over. I didn't want to spent forever and a day

So lucky to have found your channel. I came upon a deal a couple years ago... I picked up 3 v65's for 500 bucks. None had been ran in ten years, but supposedly ran when parked in the garage. I've been dragging my feet on getting them up and running. I got 3 extra tanks, 4 extra seats, and 4 big Rubbermaid totes of pieces all ziploc'd and labeled. This might be my sign to get after it already and get them back on the road!

On them newer scooters where do they put the Fuse block at ? I dont know nothing on them newer Scooters. With the tranny and motor cases together . ?

I've noticed that as the weather is cooling off, I'm not blowing ignition fuses as I used to. I might just load my parts cannon with a rectifier and pull the trigger.

I solder at my job a lot. Using some flux on your wires before you solder will help a lot. As well as putting the solder gun on the wires and hitting the wire with the soldering wire instead of gun. It will help you get better dispersement of the solder. Really enjoying your content. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
