Just to clarify regarding the "offbrand" memes subreddit, the moderators that existed there were known to be fairly active and were quite nice. But Reddits' admins love to do things like banning moderators just so they have a 'justification' to ban a subreddit they do not like by saying that the sub was "unmoderated".
