Hi, Dario - once again: great video! Only thing i wonder is the max. length of the rally car. Doesn't a width limitation make more sense, 205mm max. for example (like in our Rally Experience Austria)? And in our series we use the "shadow" also for recording the track time with the smartphone, instead of an automated timing system. Thanks for your work and happy holidays!

Hey Dario, great recap and well explained.
Just a slight correction as commented at 2:34: wheelbase is 257mm as standard Tamiya touring car chassis wheelbase since TA01.
Some chassis from other companies might be either 257 or up to 260mm. Few move further away from 257mm, due to the lack of bodies in different sizes.
    Only a few older Tamiya short chassis/bodies (TA02 & TA03 / Peugeot 206, Corolla WRC, Lancia 037) can be 237mm of wheelbase.
Speaking of this, is anybody running a 237mm chassis competitively?

      Thanks!
About the wheelbase, as the other measures, I was referring to the max length allowed by the regulations. That's why it differ from the standard ones. Hope I've understood correctly your question :)
237 sounds interesting, currently I see this kind of shorter models in 2WD category. But in the future I would like to try to build a short model for the 4WD category

@dariorcgarage Ah, that makes sense! Thanks for clarifying .
I bought an Embie 237mm chassis for XV01, and I intend to try it and see how it performs as an AWD.
