Such a hard working girl that her tongue looked two feet long at one point. But she was ready and willing to get the job done. What a wonderful girl, Storm. This was an excellent video showcasing the intelligence and tenacity of the Border Collie. Hope mommy and baby are well!
Storm is such an amazing dog and I loved watching her “do her thing”. She even made her little tumble look graceful! The scenery is incredible and am glad you showed a bit today. Thank you and blessings to you and your beautiful family. 💜
I love how Storm makes a wide turn then goes for the sheep. She is such a beauty. Hope Cole is still sleeping well at night. Prayers for mom, Cole, you and all the puppers. The pictures you show at the first always makes me smile, especially the one with the flower band around her ears. I think it’s Storm but not sure.
Sean you and Storm, what a team poetry in motion, a well-oiled team. Storm, sorry you took a little tumble with that terrain good recovery, though. Beautiful day, just gorgeous. Storm 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Good girl ❤️🐾 That'll do Sean, great photography Scotland is beautiful.
Oh what a lovely way to enjoy my tea on a chilly bleary Canadian day. The countryside is stunning. What vistas. Watching Storm work the sheep is always such a treat. Great job done well. What a good herding dog can do in one day, can sure save a Shepard days of murderous walking on uneven terrain and wet long grass. I appreciate the work Sean puts in to share this with us . Many congrats on the new bairn. Hugs
I swear, if you gave Storm a cellphone you could have her herding sheep halfway around the world. She is truly an amazing dog, trained by an amazing handler (and her BFF!).
So love to watch border collies work! The scenery is stunning. This makes me miss my girl. She herded goats for me and had to be tough. So proud of Storm for getting the sheep to turn it looked like a standoff for a minute. It takes a brave girl to stand her ground!!! Good job Storm!
It really is fascinating to see Storm, or any of your dogs, at work; and seeing how you and they work together. And not just at work, but absolutely loving what they do - in this case, even on terrain where she can't actually see the sheep.
While I know all lives are not perfect and we all struggle and have hardship... I feel you and your family have such a dream life. Living far from the city, with loving family and your amazing dog tending to your property and animals. To me, in my flawed mind, that is heaven. The time I lived in Scotland has been my favourite time in life, I miss Inverness, Portree and isle of Skye. Wish you all the best, love your content and cheers from Costa Rica!
Great to watch this video, since my BC and I will be training with sheep later today. i told her "we're going to see the sheep," and she started trembling. Man, these dogs LOVE to work1
She loves you and she loves her work. To me it seems, working with dogs is not about ownership. You are her guide, her guard, her colleague, her friend. Not her owner.
Thanks for this wonderful video of you and Storm guiding the sheep around that gorgeous land. Storm is so smart and responsive. You make a fantastic team. Yes, that moment when Storm had to redirect the sheep away from your neighbor’s sheep really showed her skill and determination. Very interesting. Thanks for including so much of the landscape. Sooooo beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️
Watching you and those beautiful dogs is relaxing and a joy to see. Thank you Sean. Hope Stacy and Kole are well too. Blessings and love from BC, Canada.
She truly IS an amazing dog!!! So skilled, such a partner, so beautiful, and so loving. You are one hard-working, talented, fortunate man. Thank you for sharing this experience with us.❤️
Whenever I come across farming, it takes me down memory lane. Losing my farm to the hurricane Florence on September 2018 here in North Carolina dealth a huge jab. But with an influx of $145k monthly made my family happy one more time
as before......love the beauty of the land and the enthusiasm of the pup.....and how she gets right up and gets back into the task....😁....and of course your love and respect for them.....but perhaps a drink of water...☺
My favorite kind of sheepdog video: the dog so joyfully doing what she was born to do, with the dramatic backdrop of Scottish countryside. I do believe you may have actually tired her out this time!
Oh my gosh, WOW, Stormie was really moving out there and she took a little tumble but got up and kept on going. What a beautiful girl she is. She loves her work and you, Sean. Just a beautiful dog and so dedicated.
I love Storm's innocent, responsible and playful personality !😘🐶💝 I always feel Storm's love for Sean.♥️♥️♥️ Thank you for introducing such a great video.💞
What a grand dog Storm is. Had a bit of a fright when she rolled going down the hill but seems no harm was done. Lovely old walls in the fields; do you have professional stone masons keep them up or do the farmers keep them up themselves? I've always understood it's quite particular to do and there isn't any mortar.
Storm is amazing. To work so far away from you and not having the visual vantage point you have on the top of the hill, but to still get to the sheep and turn them in is a tribute to your training and the dog’s dedication to getting the job done and pleasing the boss…lovely 👍👍
This was just magical! The breathtaking elevations, the long grass waiving in the wind and Stormy racing after the sheep. Over it all that gorgeous music. It was like watching a movie. Thank you for sharing these moments with us Sean!
Watching you Sean share your life, your family and love of your dogs and the beauty of Scotland and the farm, gives me peace of mind and heart. Thank you for sharing it. I live in the US.
I am always amazed while watching the doggies🐕 work! They love what they are doing and they love doing it for you! The countryside is so beautiful and majestic! Someday maybe, God willing , I will be able to see it for real! ✝️ God Bless you, Stacy and Kole! ❤❤❤
Such a treat to witness this complex maneuvering with this amazing dog. They are so intelligent. My husband’s advisor for his post-doc had one and, like so many people, didn’t really have the lifestyle to sufficiently challenge and engage her. She was a tad on the neurotic sign. If they had people over for a get together Maggie would get anxious at people standing in group chatting in different areas and try to ‘herd’ them. He also owned an African grey parrot, incredibly intelligent birds. It had learned to imitate his voice and, one day, he caught in scolding Maggie the border collie saying “Bad girl Maggie, Bad girl..go to your place” when she had done nothing wrong of course. He figured the bird had likely been doing this for some time and had been contributing to her neurosis. Subsequent to this, he would separate them when he wasn’t there with them and Maggie did improve some. John thought the parrot knew what it was doing!
Sean it's such a pleasure watching your beautifully trained Border Collies, there's nothing they wouldn't do to please you, and all they seem to want in return from you is praise for a job well done. Their energy seems endless.
Did anyone else say, "oh no!", when Storm took that tumble? What an amazing dog you have. Thanks so much for sharing.
