Wow! JC Superstar??! You literally can sing anything. I've been your fan and led many of my female vocal students to your performances to show what singer with style and flawless technique can do. I played Jesus in a few productions and tours of Superstar back in the mid-2000s. Coolest best musical ever by ALW. As usual, you completely slay this song!! So freaking good!

This is the best version of this song by a long way❤️
My all-time-favorite for this song is the very young Ian Gillan and he even today is almsot unbetatable, but Morgan James managed to make this song to her own one and this version is different, but equally great. Something, which a lot of male singers before her did not manage. (The worst one in my opinion was John Legend, a complete miscast in my opinion.)
So I'm having a a second favorite version of this song from now on. Really well done!
John Legend should have been smart enough to know it was out of his range and depth to sing JC Superstar. Morgan is unbelievable with any song she sings.

This is a great version. There are only two problems with it - one is Ted Neeley and the other one is Ian Gillan. Some things just... shouldn't be attempted.
Agree. She has a beautiful voice, but she struggled with this...very screechy and pitchy in many places...it loses something when a female voice sings a song intended for a male rock tenor...especially when she doesn't execute it well...

Well this is not your best performance.
Great song. Sharp new hairdo for the summer season! But the entire musician group looks unhappy, with the sleepy guy on the wall looking like he was in the penalty box. The band was not professional, unlike most groups Morgan uses. Don't work with them again.
The guy on the wall was in the stage crew, not the band.
