Thank you for this tutorial, I am so thrilled to find. I have made some bags for my 70th birthday give aways. I wished I'd come across your tutorial first, but I am happy to learn more. Thanks again ❤
I loved this bag tutorial and already made one! Also, the video tutorial led me to the online fabric store....looking forward to receiving my fabric! 😊Thank you!
Bless your heart u r a very good teacher, and the bag is pretty, I will be making one soon.
Thank you!!
I really enjoyed making this. It took me a lot longer than 30 minutes though. I’m new to sewing bags. I’ve made three so far. Thank you for sharing. I also didn’t have canvas so I put interfacing on almost all the parts. 😆
I added a secure square stitching at the top area of each of the 4 straps where it meets the opening on each side for a more secure hold for added weight and to a long wearing bag. Thank you for your tutorial!
Thanks for clarifying the dimensions in writing. I got a little confused at first with the folding and openings of the fabric while you were cutting it. Love love love the bag. The tutorial was great! Very well explained👍🏻
What a beautiful bag and pattern. Thanks for the great instructions.
INSPIRING. Thanks for teaching me how to make bags. I will try to make one next week.

Thank you so much for this video. I purchased the fabric from you about a year ago and recently bought some more from you. I am going to finally make the bag this weekend. As I was just watching this video again. I realized you made it 2yrs ago today. Lol
This was one of the easiest bags I have made. Your video was simple to follow.
Thanks for the great instructions. I love the bag.
Thank you for the tutorial. Your instructions were good and easy to follow. I will now incorporate your tutorial into my bag!
Made this, it was my first attempt at a bag and I followed your video whilst I made mine! Really happy with the result
Me too.
Nice tutorial, lovely fabric. Thanks, x
My son carries lots of heavy piano books. I made this bag out of trigger & lined it with a music-themed print. I made his initial out of the lining print & appliquéd it to the front before assembling the bag. It turned out GREAT! Thank you!
This is a very good tutorial, and a very attractive bag! Just what I need to haul stuff over to my daughter's house. I am going to make one of these for sure. Thanks for the clear directions.
FAB video, i made this bag this afternoon and it turned out perfect
I made one! Your tutorial is excellent. Love the bag.
This is a wonderful bag. Exactly what I needed and easy to make. I did add a pocket to the inside and could customize in other ways to me my needs. Thank you for a great tutorial.

Nice bag and I love the fabrics too! Great tutorial!
lovely job you done of this bag young lady xx
Very nice! Quick and simple. Thanks for sharing
love the bag
I knew there would be a problem when you sewed the straps on that way. I do like the way they are sewn down on to the body of the bag as reinforecement.
Good Stuff... I learn something everyday on here...corners are the move !!
very nice and you made it very easy to make.. thanks for sharing. God bless you.

I have made quite a few of these bags. I have put pockets between the straps and on the lining. Just had to re-watch the video because I wanted to make another one and I needed to remember the measurements. Love this bag!
thanks for sharing, how u explain it is very good,
Very nice bag and tutorial. Thanks.
I had fun making this beach bag. I used a red print for the main part of the bag and a yellow print for the bottom. And a coordinating fabric for the straps. I made a cell phone pocket on the front. I hid the raw seams under the straps. That worked great! This was easy to construct although it took me 3 1/2 hours. Thanks!
Great tutorial - Well done! Am going to make this right now
I would pair the turtle print with a tan print to mimic water meeting sand. But I love the inside print.
Very good tutorial. Nice colour combination. Bye the bye violet is my favorite colour too.Iam not a good tailor but likes to watch the videos . Thank you.
awesome! love it. thank you
I made my first beach bag using this very helpful video. My project turned out perfectly. Wish I could share a picture
very helpful. you are amazing 😍😍😍
I love your weekender tote, and have made several of these for my family. I would love it if you could create an instructional video on how to add a fully enclosed, recessed zipper to the top of the tote. The same size tote would be perfect (21"x21').
Thank you for your instructions. I modified the straps but I love this pattern. Took me longer than 30 minutes LOL I think the next will go quicker.
Made this bag yesterday with $8.00 of material from JoAnn's (Canvas on sale for 5.00/yd). I also added a secure stitch triangle at the top of each strap as well as double top stitching all my seams so they will wear better when washing. Love this! Thanks so much for the tutorial! I would post a picture if I knew how to on here....... 😊😊
Great tutorial!

I like this video.I've probably seen 10 videos and this was simple, friendly and to the point thanks I might want to use a quilted fabric and some polyester or nylon webbing. Maybe line it with that thermal quilting battingSo my frozen foods stay frozen . Simplest video I've seen Thanks Bonnie

Thanks, very nice tutorial. You must be a mommy by now!
I made this bag and it came out great! Thank you for the video tutorial and the measurements. I wish I could post a picture of it. Anyhow, is there an easier way to do the handles? I wasn't a fan of putting them on, then undoing part of them, then sewing it back on.
Thnx a lot .easy way.
Nice explanation.awsome bag.i need how to attach the zipper and side pockets for this kind of bag.have a good day.
You are a wonderful seamstress⚘
Good job
Super cute. I’m going to get some fabric and make one. Do you think it will be sturdy enough for a travel
Bag for a couple of weeks? It will be going under my seat on the plane. I think I’ll scotchguard the
Inside and outside. Will help protect against spills and dirt
Again, thanks
Very interesting
GREAT VIDEO What kind of machine do you recommend for production quantities....
Süper💙👏👏
I like your cutting scissors.
pls reply me from where you bought it
thank uuuuu. I needed an easy bag. hey - what kind of machine are you sewing on.
A very nice tote, complete with corners and lining, only disappointment I had was the messy way the straps had to be cut after sewing then resewn on top of previous stitches... there must be a tidier method..how about sewing round the top half of strap down to the edge of the bag, then sewing across ...then sewing round bottom of strap, (the part attached to the bag), up to the top bit and making a fancy crisscross effect, thereby strengthening whole strap in the process, of course turning in your bag’s seam allowance as you do it or it won’t work.
Just finished a bag using this video. Just a heads up for us thicker folk, the length of the straps are not long enough for these ham hocks I call arms. Note to self, try on for size before sewing down. Thank you for this video!!!
The VIDEO is really helpful..but what type of cloth material should be used. which is more durable. n easy to wash??
Use canvas
You are a great teacher, question my daughter wants a beach bag made with UGA material this is the college that she graduated from I’m not sure how to do it with just plain material can you tell me how to do this thank you
If I wanted a stiff bag that would stand up on it's own, could I use all cotton and maybe pellon 809 fusible fleece?
Would I be able to sew through all the layers?
I would iron on some Pellon 809 fusible interfacing. and also maybe put a cardboard insert in the bottom of the bag :)
hi what type of interface you use ? can I also use a cotton fabrics ?
What if i want to put pockets ?where do you put them ?on between two straps?
Which material you used under the top outer fabric? Wovwn fuse or decovil lite? Kindly inform all the detail
onde você comprou esta manta da sua mesa?
how many yards of fabric do u need for bottom , straps, main body, & inside? trying to figure out to buy from your website
I usually use length and width. Use of "height" is a bit confusing. Also. TIGHT SIDES TOGETHER... Is also less confusing. I do like how you sewed the handles and sew to bag at same time. Love the bag overall. Good job !
What does "tight sides together" mean?
Right sides together means the fabrics that are going to show on the outside, should face each other so that you can make the seam.
Must have been a type o!
Is it supposed to be right or tight side
Looks like a great tutorial! Could you please tell us the finished measurements of the bag? Thanks.
Needing to create a bag which measures 9” wide across the bottom. Would I simply increase the width and height of the bag pieces to increase size of bag? Overall dimensions needed are 18” tall X 23” wide.
TIA
