- Oh they did not lie, that's for sure! They called this vibe knowing that they would deliver and that they did! I was already having high expectation for this and once again, they delivered, but what I was not expecting is for this song to make me feel so good and just completely change my mood for the better! It's the epitome of good music to me, where you're just there in the moment, feeling it and enjoying it. You're mind and body is in the moment appreciating all of it entirely. At least for me! I was present, in the moment and my body felt it before my brain even tried to do anything and I think this feeling of just enjoying the moment is something that I missed dearly and why I felt like this song brightened my day!
Both their voices inherently have a rnb tone to it and so putting them on such track is heaven! It gave me so much nostalgia, I got reminded of Usher, The weekend, Bruno Mars etc. All that good "old school" vibes and I loved it so so much! That's what I meant also when I said that these two transcend their generation and the kpop genre they originate from, at least in my eyes.
This collab was too wild to even dream of but damn I am glad I am alive today to have witnessed it!

I remember first hearing of jimin and bts was from a i need a girl cover years ago and how he would always mention taeyang and bigbang when talking about his idol. This collab was truly a dream come true and they also fit together well their voices matched and the song is great too.

I think it's wonderful that in many reactions people are so surprised by Jimin's lower register 💌 as if he hasn't used it so many times over the years, but I understand that he mostly used his unique higher vocals, but this song was perfect. Both fit the song perfectly and I love it even more when I hear it, and I loved it the first time I heard it. They did their thing and after reading about how they got together? Made it even better for me. And I agree that it didn't feel like a feature, which made me happy, but I would take it anyway they arranged the music! This song makes me happy and I'm so excited to really dive into Taeyang's solo work, Jimmin is humility personified, with all his potential and fame he wanted his friend Taeyang who he is a fan to shine a lot brighter because he was so collaborating, but both reign supreme because they are legendary for their insane vocals! I have to say that's what I love about YG artists because whoever they do a collaboration or a duet with, they always make sure the person they're with is shining. I've seen it with Taeyang in the Fantastic duo, Mino in some variety shows and BOBBY in Kingdom. They know how to show that artist's potential and make him really sing well, and they give him full support, especially when they think he doesn't have what it takes.
