In the suburbs you do not realize it but in the city you can tell the black cops be worse with their own people. Trying to prove loyalty to a corrupt police system. There are a number of black films that demonstrate this. Brandy and Ray Jay were disconnected, young and didn't know.

I've been on a Prank'd binge laughing my ass off but this episode actually hit me different. For anyone that doesn't think police discrimination isn't real just watch this prank. The fact that they even got pulled over made them nervous. The fact the cop was black brought Brandy some relief thinking at least he'd understand. The fact that he seemed to be acting like any other asshole cop trying to turn an innocent person into a criminal made her cry. Discrimination is so real and I being a white person that grew up in a small town with cops that bullied me has at least an understanding of what some of these people have to put up with. I understand that fear. I don't wanna stir up the pot in the comments of a funny video but I couldn't help but to feel her pain even knowing it was all a prank and would end. I personally have PTSD and anxiety issues strictly because of maltreatment by police officers. All I ask/want is that the people in charge of holding others accountable are also held to that same level of accountability. That's it. It's not okay what some of them do and they need to be actually held accountable so they won't feel so empowered to act like they do.

It’s like how at the end of the movie ‘Get Out’ a police car came up to the scene and EVERYONE groaned or gasped or got sad because they figured the black protagonist would be murdered or at least locked up after escaping a white woman who was trying to murder him. When the man driving the police car was revealed to be his friend, everyone in the theater sighed of relief and cheered some even clapped lol. It is very real the fear we have of police but honestly I’m scared of any person walking around with a gun who can potentially ruin your life by locking you up. The fear black people have of police is very media-based and honestly I’ve never ever met a bad one. Only great ones who’ve done everything they could to protect and bring me peace
