Nice...KTIM was Our high school radio station's sponsor. KPVH in Pinole I still have a few KTIM marked records they gave us...including a copy of Magical Mystery Tour. I forgot that they also did live broadcasts...thanks for this one.
YEAH VAN TODAY IS TWO YEARS SINCE MY OLD SHEPHERD DOG ROCKY AS ROCKY MARCIANO DIED I HAVE STILL BLUES FOR HIM BUT LISTENING TO YOU COMFORTS ME I WISH YOU MANY MORE CREATIVE YEARS
Have had this one on cassette since late 1970s. Great show, "Wild Children" my fave from this set. "Rod's crying like a baby thinking about the time, James Dean took that fatal ride...in LA, in LA, in LA."
I love these older Van sets. Just so dang nostalgic I guess. Used to have the early and late Troubadour sets. Always burning copies for friends and newbies.

@@SouthernFriendlyMemories Did not know that Doug was on this one!! There's a very interesting interview of him on youtube talking about Van during the early 70s- how one time he wanted to play 'stairway to heaven'. Never happened but would've for sure been interesting to hear Van's take on it
This seems to be some form of The Caledonian soul band but it might not be the great 😂David Shaw on drums ( Van seem to introduce another name for the drummer ? Hard to understand. I think it’s the great Caledonian Soul band which is my fav band Van used. They have such a sense of Groove and tight ,
This is amazing recording. I can’t get enough of Van of this mid seventies period. I can’t thank you enough for uploading . ❤❤❤
Back when artists played towns like San Anselmo. Thx for posting. Cherry sound!!
This is absolutely brilliant. What a performance..... peerless.
wow .... just, wow ... amazing to be taken thru this portal back five decades to this music, live in Marin, when life was magic and mystical ...

This is the first time I hear him do stormy monday at this gig!! All the other tapes cut off right about when he says the first few lines. THANK YOU!
Listen to the Lion live. First heard it on Too Late to Stop Now release and have been hooked on live Van ever since.

Absolute dynamiteness.
Thank you so much for this. I've heard Vince Guaraldi is the pianist on this concert. Do you have a breakdown of the band line-up, please?
Awesome
