It's a delicate balance to work on this podcast, which is essentially my hobby, while also handling my business at my real job, and being a good dad and husband. And I think it all just got the best of me for a bit. I'm now back in action though and feeling a lot better.

Hey Jacob just wanted to say you've the most informative show out there and I actualy like the time you take to be informative to us I know I herd you say that your long winded but your not I like your format so don't shorten it the longer the beter! Ha! But great show been watching since the Galliano video you made and you do take a little while in-between videos and I do check daily after a week or 2 to and man I get anticipation big time but the research you do is freekn phenomenal I would say the only other guy close to you would be Ole oc shortz and do you know he just did a show and took when you told us Angelo Bruno made some guys at a wedding I knew he got that from you even though he didn't say it but I've seen him do that a couple times with people but that's cool that being the research her he is that he borrowed from you! I've been improving (I hope) with each episode, and my goal is the create the most well-researched, in-depth history of the mafia channel out there. It will take a very long time, but that's the goal. I am actually flattered that OC Shortz may have found that Bruno wedding story from my episode. That one was a surprise to me as well, and I plan to do a short episode about it on Patreon where it will be a little more exclusive. Anyhow, I hope all is well!
From what I know Bruno was brutal when he had to be, but knew it wasn't always the best option. My dad told me a story about a guy who did the wrong thing to the wrong girl. They picked him up and brought him to a warehouse by the old navy yard and kept him alive for more days than anyone would want to be alive during what happened. Bruno was said too have gone down twice to make sure it wasn't a pleasant death.

I can't ask him for any details but I believe it happened in the late 50's. It could be nothing more than a neighborhood rumor but he told me that story a little after Angelo was killed and he didn't look like he took it lightly.
In any event, an interesting story and I thank you for watching/commenting. A lot of people from what I've heard and those I've talked to were very sad to see Angelo go in the manner that he did.
Wonder why they beat blaney twice before finally hitting him. If they were afraid he'd flip, you'd think just beating him twice would make him even more likely to flip.
Yeah, I felt that Blaney murder in particular where it's clear that marine life (probably sharks) ate part of the body was a cold yet stark reality that has probably happened many times over in the mob. Turns your stomach.
