You have no idea how much the chorus from Act 1 makes this feel more complete, always felt like Act 2 had a solid enough base to work with, but it didn't have a real payoff, it looped back before it could reach a climax.
as an avid listener of hikoshi hashimoto's gen/md work i noted a lot of the references right away even as i was just banging out to this tune this ain't a complaint, not even in the slightest, but i personally feel that the slower tempo kind of loses the urgency the original song? the factory noises you added give it that sort of chaotic, clanky touch that makes up for it though so everything works out in the end
when i shared this with a friend they also thought the same, but i personally like the slower tempo since act 1 and 2 are similar in tempo making it a bit boring to hear consecutively
Honestly I like the slower tempo on this version? It adds a bit more tension and goes well with that "ticking time bomb" sensation of the act. Also nice use of some of the MBM motifs
