*Warning for others:* These run a little short so if you're close to the limit normally I'd advise a half size up! Suggestion for the next shoe to try out: Listening to you talk about ripped laces and heel bruises gave me the perfect idea for your next shoe. Try one of the FP Footwear ones! They don't just make insoles, they have some skate shoes as well. Maybe the Neen Williams Intercept shoe?
@@SkateIntel Yeah they sell out pretty quickly. If you can't find those I recommend checking out Mark Appleyard's latest shoe. The Globe Mahalo Plus. Watch out though, they run large.
I also bought them one size up because of length. Heel feels a bit loose though (still kind of new). Feels better when I also use the top lace eyelet. Most people don't use the top lace eyelet. Wonder why that is?
Great vid! Love your reviews. Just found your channel. I'm addicted to these shoe wear tests. Also, what a spot with all those numerous endless ledges. Keep it up bro 👍👍
Finally!! Was hyped seeing you wear them not long after I commented ! I have myself the deathwish collab ones , super fire 🔥 🤝 Jamie foy is the 🐐 should def try the vans rowans pro next!
@@LuffyDYami absolutely. I’ll wear my Nike shoes, converse sweatshirt, vans hat, and my adidas undies all in the same clip. Till Im sponsored by one I don’t care bout matching🤷🏼♂️
Sick they are great shoes bet you will like them! If you are from SF check out our spot check videos all over the Bay Area! Might help you find some new street spots 👊🏼
Lakai doesn’t make shoes in my size which is 13.. little unfortunate cause I used to love Lakai! I’ve tried on the Pillars and wasn’t a big fan of the mid tops however those Straye Logan’s look interesting. I’ve never heard of them before but they look similar to a high quality Vans shoe and for only $55! Might have to give those a try soon
I can't really describe how helpful your shoe reviews are. Keep up the work! You could try out the Joslin Vulcs. There isn't any real review about those shoes.
I’ve broken it since filming this but I love the flight decks stoked they are finally making them again! I break 7 ply boards super easily and the flights just flex instead of snap. The only downside is they chip super easily.. definitely feel weird at first but I get used to them after a few sessions
Hey guys! I have been skating street for a little over two years now but have been neglecting transition this whole time lol. Are there any skateparks in the South Bay/lower east bay that you recommend in particular for learning the basics of transition? I’m looking for quarter pipes or mini bowls that are mellower so I can learn some of the basic tricks and stalls haha
Fremont, Newark, Milpitas and Sunnyvale parks all have nice mini bowls that are great to learn new tricks in! Check out our channel to see tours of parks all around the Bay Area to see which ones would be best for you!
You seem to use the top lace eyelet. Most people don't use the top lace eyelet. Wonder why that is? Using it feels better to me, otherwise heel feels a bit loose.
@@SkateIntel would you sell them after stop staking them? I’m bmx’er and look comfy as fuck and get they got great grip. Not concern if the front end is smooth or worn through.
@@atxworld1429 I’m still skating these till I get some new ones but probably not gonna sell my old shoes.. Pick up a new pair if you BMX they will last a long time!
@@SkateIntel Actually, I went back looked again. It depends on what color you want. I think there are some that you can find on sale. In general, it seems pretty difficult to find New Balance on sale though. I think the ones you can get for cheap are ones that people bought and returned, on Amazon anyway. I found a couple pair cheap like that. In some cases they had a different box. The shoes were new though. Only thing about New Balance is that they look nice enough that I never want to trash them skating. I don't mind thrashing something like Adidas immediately. The materials aren't as nice.
I got the notification and dropped everything I was doing! Hope you guys are doing well! Love the reviews! Cheers from Daly City!!

Anyone notice the 'Antonio Banderas reaction' from the Scooter kid @3:21? Awesome
He was juiced 😂👌🏼
Clicked before the RUclips notification 🤣
Great video as always man!
Love it! First view 🙌👊
That first line is so sick 👍🏼 love the variety of footage and lines in this vid
Thanks man! I was stoked on that one 👊🏼
Another awesome review! Thanks! Please review the Nike Bruin React if you could for the next shoe review you conduct
I've never tried the Bruins! That would be a good one 👊

Are the insoles bad in them then , if so should I get some footprint insoles to put in them ??
If you like FP insoles go for it! I always use the stock insoles and they felt pretty good! Landed primo a few times and didn’t hurt too bad
Wow I’m early!! I want all the shoes you review lol
Pick em up! Great shoes for the price 👊
try kyle walker 2. I skate those and theyre great but everyone seems to have different opinions on them

That the flightless Moth Powell flight deck? I just got it and it feels weird with so much flex going on. How does it hold up?
