Life is always one step at a time. You will definitely finish. But you will learn so much more, be more self confident, and then, next, you will go on into a PhD program. If you can do graduate college with a fellowship pay check; don't pass it up. And then, WOW! a fisheries PhD kayak fisher!!!@@FishermansChronicles
I am very open to that. Recently spoke to some well known conservation biologists and had the opportunity to chat with Paul Ehrlich. They suggested I go straight to PhD after undergrad (you get a masters on the way as well) so I am seriously considering that... and I think a return to coastal CA is in the cards for me in a couple of years :)
I live 30 min from here and this is our favorite spot, there used to be a fish-cleaning station right by the mountain, dont know what happened to it unfortunately
Fisherman's Life brought me here. I think he was wearing your T-shirt in his latest video. That Osprey Eagle was like, "Let me give y'all some RUclips footage right quick.." Lol! You have a new sub.!
I just watched his video! Was very happy to see him wearing the shirt! And yes, the osprey was a gem 😉 thank you for subscribing and welcome to my channel!
Cali has too many contradictions in its regulations. You can still keep 5 legal (22”) halibut a day in SoCal… but we are not allowed to cast net for bait fish
Read the disclaimer at the beginning of the video and/or take a look at the description of the video! We have the same regulations, but this video was filmed before the regulations were enacted. Was busy with school, so I wasnt able to edit it and post it until now
How do you like the Hobie outback? If money was not an issue would you get an outback or PA12? The PA12 seat looks like it is too high ac compaired to the outback. I am torn.
I love the outback! I would not trade it for a PA. Main drawback is see with PA is its size maneuverability goes a long way, especially for launching from the surf. Outback is so stable i can practically jump on it
@@FishermansChronicles mainly because I’d rather just go home lol also our camping spot was the bluff that has the rope leading down to a fishing spot, Brenda cut the trees down so it’s not as beautiful as before.
we are both currently pursuing undergrad degrees in environmental biology! She's minoring in physics and I'm minoring in geospatial science. Some kind of biology work is definitely in the cards, at least for me
Next time you’re in that area drop down a 5” motor oil pitbull tackle swim bait with a red 1oz pitbull tackle jig head. Killed it with just that last time I went out there
Great content, great demeanor.
Living the dream
Nice catch and cook man! Dope when you can camp catch and cook! Keep it up
Thanks! Nothing like sleeping where you are fishing and cooking :)
So lucky to have a cute chica by your side to enjoy the adventure ! She’s awesome!
I know right :)))

Super cool! Thanks for the info! Ill do some more research on them so I can be more informative next time I come across one
More Research?? Do it in your MSc degree thesis/dissertation in fisheries biology!@@FishermansChronicles
Hahaha one step at a time 😅 have to finish undergrad first but definitely not opposed

Thank you! Having a lot of fun :)
I saw an Osprey fly away with away with some families small dog they had running around without a leash, those things are savage
One jacked my parrot off of her perch man. Serious beasts them.
Sheesh that is insane. Not sure what i would do if i saw my dog carried away by an eagle 😅
That is an AWESOME spot! Good job!
Thank you! Awesome spot for sure

Didn't know about the fish cleaning station, making a new one would be very sweet

Why?
Why is that??
