Just used mine iit was so mesmerizing to just look at it going! However, I made a cake then couldn’t find the starting pull. How do you find iit after. I tried lvg long piece then short n lost them both having to make the cake again.
You are the onky one who has the winder on the right side of the table or tray. The winder is mot meant to wind a full skein of yarn sometimes there has to be 2 cakes from the same skeins.
I am right handed, so for me it has to be on the right side of the table. This winder is the Stanwood Large Metal Yarn Winder up to 10-ounce; so it holds more yarn then the 7-ounce , or the 4-ounce yarn winders.
I have the stanwood yarn winder I will never make a ball of yarn by hand again I’m so glad I got this ball winder
Same here :)

Are they some smaller cone plastic holders for this tool available that the hole in the middle can be smaller. 🤔
It came with just one cone, however, it doesn't leave a big hole.
