So glad I found this!!! I've been staring at my new wider for a hour!!. I saw REMOVE, but it wouldn't budge!! My hands are weak (that's why the winder!) And it just wouldn't budge. I didn't want to break it. But once I read this, I did it. Had to use potholder cuz it hurt my thumbs!!! Geez, after spending 1 hr staring from all sides. 1 more hour online looking for help. And all videos started AFTER that little piece!! THANKS!! I just wound my 1st skein. Perfect!! I love it!!

they are out of stock...? im really not sure but, would you recommend any other ones. i want to buy one but i rather spend on one that is worth it, then to buy a cheaper one and not turn out so good. Thank you :)

Oh no!! :( I personally can’t recommend another brand bc the other two I used were so bad 😭 but I just checked Amazon and there’s a metal one from Olikraft that looks similar + has good reviews. It might just be a bit smaller. But again I haven’t used that one so can’t speak to it personally!!

Idk why I didn’t think of using it to help frog my old projects into cakes 😱 I always just frogged my projects and then wind it 😩 all this extra work
