I’d love to see Kalani as the second star of Tales of the Separatists. We could get a look at him managing his troops between Clone Wars and Rebels, and an episode about him after his appearance in Rebels.
@@taranbaze1448Lux Bonteri is completely unexplored after Clone Wars, it would be so interesting to learn more about him and his mother before she was assassinated

In his defence he was doing what Lucas wanted him to do, Tarkovsky made Grevious awesome before Lucas really decided what he wanted the character to be and that resulted in the mess we have.
like the other comment said, it was lucas’ idea, i 100% agree tho they should’ve stuck with the 2003 version, in the clone wars they kept alluding to how large of a menace grievous was to the jedi but we never actually see him do anything impressive against them, i wish they followed him through with the same style and overall menace as the 2003 version
How i missed Grevious Certain people disliked him in his movie/CW treatment but I've always have a soft spot for this guy He has a great design and i love the Voice.
@@godzillafan1202 Son of Dathomir particularly hurts if you want some Grievous because he's a fucking beast in that. A lot of people missed this detail but when grievous took out his third arm his fourth was missing a hand just like in the show the clone wars you'd have to watch the scene and then watch this. Really cool detail I'm glad they added!!
Nothing to be glad of, it just means that they are doing the minimum effort to keep consistency with TCW(it would insulting if it wasn't the case, if they are not gonna respect other stories at least respect TCW)
Right, I hate that we didn’t get this grievous and instead we got “better luck next time” flying away on a handheld helicopter at any sign of danger grievous
This does Grievous so much justice compared to the amount of BS/Wrongs that he was in Season's 1-6 of Clone Wars. A mix of RotS and 2003 Grievous I think
Grievous taunting Morgan by mockingly telling her to run gets so much darker once you realize that grievous was responsible for wiping the yamree from both Kalee and their colony worlds. This wasn’t the first time he wiped entire planets clean of a group of people. He knew that there was nowhere on dathomire Morgan or the other night sisters could flee to where he wouldn’t find and eradicate them. He’s done this before. And he’s telling his prey to run knowing this. This is one of the darkest moments in Star Wars depicted on screen. Even more so than Vader’s massacre of the rebels at the end of rouge one.

As someone who grew up with TCW Grevious, this does him so much justice. TCW Grevious is nostalgic for me, and I kinda understand his nerfing, but I don't pretend he was very good lol. This is the Grevious we all prefer, an unstoppable monster committing genocide while laughing.
the day when a movie/series about the general is made will be the day I will be happy. For example, his early life, the origins of how he became a cyborg, or his training by Count Dooku. Not to mention a live action version of the Battle of Hypori.
Who wants to see Grievous in his own show? Perhaps Tales of the Separatists? Featuring him and Viceroy Gunray?
Him and Lux Bonteri.
@@taranbaze1448 Oh yeah. Lux would be a way better choice for tales of the separatists. Thank you for your suggestion.

Grievous taunting someone after murdering their mother right in front of them is actually crazy
This never happened in the clone wars or rebels
He would kill Talzin the same way in the comics in front of Maul...
Wouldnt expect anything less
“Run back home to mommy…oh wait!”

Yeah it’s a damn shame that all George Lucas wanted to do with the character was make him a mwahahaaa type villain that just runs away all the time

Grevious: wipe them out all of them
Peter Griffin: ah ah he said he said it
Best scene of the show
Grievous stole the show.
Grievous is apparently only competent in 2003 clone wars and when he fights against dathomirians
He sounds scarier
Odd that's still the same guy, with the same voice filter
Modulation could be different
I think it’s cause he’s not really talking as much. Most of his lines are him grunting

He could have just returned to his ship after killing Daka, put on the cape, and go on with the massacre of other nightsisters clans
This happened after he destroyed the clan. He eventually came back a year later to finish the job.

Reminder that Grievous was defeated & captured by a handful of Gungans (I think 1 of them was Jar Jar Binks).
Geievous is a beast when fighting anyone without plot armor.
Just sad that almost all the fights in TCW show were against main characters
As much as I hate the new clone wars and Dave Bologna veres of star wars I'm glad that Grievous looks like an actual threat nice
His laugh at the end is weird. It hard to believe he didn’t cough once.
