Richard Wraith I upgraded from a 10c as well ,I find the programming easy and I am old school,just start at basic airplane setup and go from there ,programming is very similar to the 10c.
Thanks for the review Harry ,I think you maybe wrong about your 10c not being able to utilize sbus it is my understanding that it is sbus capable but you would have to use a programmer to allocate channels whereas the 14sg you can set it up through the radio.
The 14SG is one of the very best transmitters if the 21st century ..PERIOD! The programming is not at all difficult. That was in the past. I have never had one single issue in well over 230 flights since I went back to Futaba. Skip the speaker mods for telemtry.plug in a ear bud ..real pilots wear a headset..try it..its awesome.never miss critical call outs again
What’s the point of describing the things you like/don’t like about the screen but not once did you actually show the VIEWER what it is you were commenting about! No one wants to see you talking _into_ the screen on your tx (honestly, you weren’t talking to either the camera or the viewer, it was as if you were telling off the screen for being naughty or something. When I say no one wants to see you, I mean we’re all here for your review of the tx, not to actually watch a video of you. I’m sure you understand, it’s nothing personal, but you’re not exactly Kiera Knightly, if you know what I mean😊) and still have no idea what it is you’re on about because you won’t show us. Also, I’ve not used this tx but I’m quite familiar with Futaba and still have an old 4PKS-R which I use with my MP10 nitro buggy and even on that ancient tx one is able to rearrange the menu settings to their desire, can’t you do something similar with this tx? I know Futaba sometimes has some strange wording/translations in their manuals and likewise, sometimes it carries over into the way they have the menus set out on their tx. They’re Japanese though, so it’s almost to be expected. Been like that for at least 15-20 years, maybe even longer? Ok just my 2c worth, thanks for the vid.👍

Did you mention that you could use Frsky receivers with that radio? Could you link me to how that is done please.
you just need a frsky fast receiver, the tfr6 is the 7 channel one i use.

No, i am self taught and started with a mode 1 radio. Interesting point, i can fly mode 2 as well!
I fly mode one, much easier not having the elevator and ailerons interacting . Makes inverted flying much calmer too.
